The Royal Forester Confirmed on Reading Fc's website, Evans has signed a three and half year deal. BM saw him while scouting for Arsenal, so it seems as though it is a player he wanted.

Has he played any 1st team footy ?

RustyRoyal Apparently it's a free transfer with bonuses for appearances

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... paign=1490

His contract was expiring in a few months and he couldn't get anywhere near their squad. It was always going to be a very small amount, they just changed it to get potentially more money in the future instead of a small amount now.

All seems quite sensible for an unproven youngster.

Another punt at a freebie who they can cash in on if he's got any potential ( see a pattern emerging here ) ...

Oilroyal If the Daily Mail is correct...On a Free from City, this supports the above theory.

Fook off!

If it's a free it's fantastic business. Virtually zero risk, massive potential reward in footballing terms and financial terms.

I'll take this sort of signing every day of the week over Austin for £4m, KeROFLmoROFLgent for £3m or Rhodes for, LMFAO, £10m+

Agreed nothing wrong with this at.. So Fook off yourself

Ok then, kiss and make up. mwah!

Yes, he played for City in the League Cup this season and has been tearing up League One with Walsall.

Quite excited about this one. Interesting to see where he fits in with the rest of the legion of CMs we have.

Hi George, if you're lucky you might get a spot on the bench while the rest of the midfield spectacularly underperforms. Expect to be loaned back to Walsall next month.

Where does that put Kuhl, Stacy, Tanner (when he comes back) in the pecking order for midfield places.
No future at Reading?

Well from what has been described of him, he's primarily a defensive minded central midfielder so that puts Kuhl at most risk, Stacey is a winger and Tanner plays in a more advanced role, preferably just behind the striker.
