Throw count: 15 between 14.30 and HT, but at least as many as that again in the first 15 minutes.

So call it 30 for the half, plus god knows how many fks, gks and corners.

Lots of space in and around the box. We should really take advantage.

retro royal Just get Ejaria off, worse than playing with 10, no surprise our downturn in form occurs when he's back

He’s only played against Burnley when we should have beaten the top of the table side away bar a shit ref decision

Zip Ince head and shoulders our best player.

Week in, week out. He’s going to have to go it some to lose player of the season at this point.

Millsy Yeh poor old Ejaria is havgin an awful game. Take him off.

It’s like he’s been told to cut out the flashy fancy Dan stuff and there’s nothing left.

New boots might help though!

Actually checked the stats and been all over them there. We should have created better chances I feel. Certainly the better side

He’s been alright bar a few slips. Worked hard and won plenty defensively. Couple of nice presses and passes as well

But yeah needs to change his boots

Always needs different boots.

Couple of nice challenges / interceptions, some routine passes, 1 outstanding challenge and about 3 total chuckle brothers moments.

Game desperately needs an injection of quality. I'd probably hook Carroll for Joao or Long to discourage the hoofing and get more trickery on the pitch.

Don't think we need 3CBs at all.

Need more quality in midfield. Not sure we have any.

Would quite like to see NGW's running and positivity.

Luton had the better of the first 15 but thereafter we have been on top and disappointing we are not ahead. We really need something from this game

Snowflake Royal That is a phenominal win by Ejaria.

Followed by a classical fall on his own arse, then lucky break that ends in nowt 2 minutes later

Phew. Was getting worried.

How many times does he have to FU before we just accept he ain't going to get any better, ship him off to the Kassam asap.

Always a fan of NGW.

I'm not sure this is a trickery game though. Not that sort of night. Carroll has been great, winning everything and it seems to me we need to do more of the same and goals will come.

Think it is ripe for someone trying to play football... eg Ince. Carroll's fluffed a couple of headers and we're just hoofing it to him and Luton aren't particularly troubled by it.

Yeah interesting how we have such different views on this one. I agree quality would be nice, but I just get the impression it's too scrappy and we just need Carroll's and Meite's presence tonight. Whatever happens if I'm wrong and this doesn't work, I'm sure Ince will mix it up possibly down the quality route.

I guess I'm a bit sceptical because Ejaria - normally the luxury quality player - is just not enjoying this game.

Great ball, great leap unlucky not to get it on target there, certainly a good chance, maybe should do better for someone as capable of Carroll. Think it goes without saying we need to keep hold of him after January.
