With those games in hand, I don’t think it's them we should be focusing on. Although bouncing.back with a win is important.

It's Shrewbury, Charlton, Burton, Wycombe and Wigan I'd focus on.

FFS, Button had that, looked like a flailing arm took it out his hands.

Button needs dropping, he’s one of the most average keepers in years. Even Lumley was better.

Poor week. Drop 2 points at Fleetwood and then perform well, miss chances and capitulate 4-0. Reminiscent of our run earlier in the season. Fail to win on Tuesday and it's cause for concern.

Neither result a cause for concern in isolation, but the nature of them is.

If Bolton can score a late one that's great. Poor results for Vale and Shrewsbury too, plus Carlisle are abysmal. Results in our favour. We must bounce back next week.

Yep not that it’d make any difference but that’s a bizarre one to not give. Clear handball

Burton winning is frustrating, didn’t see that happening

Dipping in and out, can’t watch it. I see we’re being destroyed 4-1 but oddly all stats in our favour. More possession more shots more on target more corners. What’s been going on?

Shame but sounds like we were excellent first 40 mins

Have to take the confidence from that into this week. Obviously huge games - couple of wins and we’ll be well clear

Elsewhere in League 1

Bolton 3-3 Charlton
Carlisle 0-4 Cambridge
Cheltenham 3-2 Port Vale
Derby 1-0 Stevenage
Fleetwood 1-2 Barnsley
Leyton Orient 1-2 Burton Albion
Lincoln 1-0 Exeter
Northampton 3-1 Bristol Rovers
Peterborough 1-2 Blackpool
Shrewsbury 0-1 Wigan
Wycombe 0-0 Oxford

Reading drop to 18th place, 3 points clear of the relegation places and 3 points behind 17th. A win v Vale will put them back up to 16th.

Their keeper made saves while Button couldn't catch a cold today.

We didn't take our chances, and we let Pompey cut us open and score four soft goals.

Could easily have had four ourselves between Mukairu shooting over from close, Wing hitting the underside of the bar and bouncing out, Smith tipping past an onrushing keeper only for an outstretched arm to save and then Savage passing in the net. Smith could have put Ehibhatiomhan 1 v 1 too.

Officials were poor... Pompey got an awful lot given to them. And they were never going to stay as poor as they were the first 30 minutes.

Play like that against Port Vale and we should win comfortably. Will we play like that though.
