Rawlie19 Seal wasn't booed today from what I could hear. And groaning isn't the same as booing you know. People might have let out a groan everytime he did something wrong, or didn't do something he should have, but I thnk we're quite in our rights to do that. Don't remember any booing.
Who mentioned booing?

Ok, abuse then. A groan is not abuse. But that is what Floyd said had happened after 11 minutes. I don't recall this happening from where I was. But then I was sat just yards away from both Sonko and the Hahnemann clan (both of which I would assume wouldn't resort to that kind of behaviour...)

I didn't hear much abuse either and I was sat not far behind Floyd.

Royal Lady OK then. So you're Coppell, you have Little out - who would you have put there to start the game in place of Seol and why?
With hindsight, virtually anybody. Because anybody would have worked harder than Seol. Yesterday was all about hard work and Seol just does not fit that plan.

Given his game plan, I'm surprised SC didn't start with Oster who, IMHO, was better suited to the task.

H&P knows I'm right. Rather than try to fight a losing battle by arguing a point that he cannot win on he just says I'm talking Sh*te. He's a cop out.

Yep, you're spot on.

After a 0-0 draw away to the champions and this year's favourites, all you want to do is slag off one of the players who helped achieve it.

I haven't slagged him off at all...............

I have just joined in a general argument about Seol. Thats what an internet forum is for.

Some people who use an internet forum don't seem to understand the concept.

Don't get me wrong. I love Seol, I just want him to try harder that is all.

All I have done is explain why Seol gets booed and others don't. I have never booed Seol and I will only ever encourage him at a match.

But, are we hear to discuss what we think or not?

That cultural differences mean that booing Seol won't work. I know not of a single player who has openly come out and said "my own fans getting on my back and making playing hard for me helped me to improve my game". I presume you believe this to work in some instances, I'd like to know where

David Beckham.....
Ronaldo..........
Lampard......

Seol is too sensitive....

A player doesn't have to openly say that booing fans improved their game.

Of course booing hurts a persons feelings......

But if a player is poor for 6 weeks, gets booed on a regular basis and then comes back stronger, then clearly criticism has worked!

The more Beckham gets criticised in the press and media and booed by fans the stronger his performances tend to be on the pitch.

I respect Beckham for that........ His attitude is to prove everyone wrong and take the abuse on the chin! I have alot of respect for that. Obviously it upsets him and clearly it hurts his feelings. But his attitude and response is first class.

Seol's attitude appears to be completely different. The more he is criticised the weaker he becomes. So if we do want him to perform we need to start showing him some love!

Royal Rother has expressed his opinion............. I respect his opinion and agree with him.........

We are not criticising Seol........ More than anybody else around here I and Royal Rother want to see Seol playing well......... However Reading FC is more important than Seol. Seol is not bigger than the club.

Therefore if Seol has no desire to try hard for the team then he deserves his critics......... What part of that can people not understand?

This is an internet forum for expressing opinion and how we feel........

So lets just all say how much we love Seol then....... Then we can all be bloody marvellous Seol fans!

I support Reading FC and not Seol. Seol has no loyalty to Reading, he wants to join Fulham for Ffs sake. While Seol wears a Reading shirt, I want to see 100% commitment. If he doesn't give that then I am allowed to criticise! I've paid half a grand for my season ticket and I won't tolerate a lack of effort!

WE SUPPORT READING AND NOT SEOL!

I respect Sidwell because even though he was leaving at the end of the season he gave us 1 season of 100% commitment and effort. I will always respect him for that!

Yeah, so Royal Rother is pis*ed off with Seol....... So am I!

I don't hate Seol, I just want him to try hard. If he doesn't work hard I get p*ssed off!

We all want Seol to work hard and do well for RFC. That is all.
