The whole year inn Would you rather have Koumas on the wing, or Leroy Rosenoir?

Koumas prefers central midfield and is also left footed.

So, still infinitely better than our right wing options, then?

Koumas isn't a right winger and neither is Rosenior.

So basically we wouldn't have spent £6m to play him there.

Now, what point are you trying to make?

Back to school for WR

I am trying to point out that neither are right wingers and we would not have bought Koumas to play there. At least Rosenior is right footed and is just filling in whilst Oster recovers from injury.

If you were trying to make your point using a right winger who we could have bought then you may have point.

Koumas is right footed btw.

But also never a right winger, the only fit right winger we had we bombed out to Fulham.

What is it with you and Koumas!? We were in no position to buy him when we needed a right winger. He may be marginly better than Oster and Seol, but thats hardly going to improve the team a great deal so why waste lots of money on a guy who is barely better than what we have. Oh and I say again, he;d already gone elsewhere.

Are you his freaking mother or something?

Katie Marsden Duberry was utter gash today, how this donkey gets a game ahead of Bikey is laughable.

Duberry - You can't pick a long pass out so DON'T BOTHER trying.

With that basket-case midfield in front giving him no receiving options he did exactly the right thing.

The only thing enjoyable about it was the result - the quality of football was absolutely atrocious.

I'd agree that the standard of football was very poor today. It was just two teams with zero confidence both playing to nick the result, thankfully we did and kept a clean sheet. 2 massive positives from today.

Today was never going to be pretty but the result was the be all and end all. Can't see things improving much because we're low on quality in midfield and confidence won't change that.

We just have to keep winning home games and hope for the odd point away. We can then improve the side in January and go from there.

For people that think Duberry is iffy see Claude £3.5million Davis. Now he truly is AWFUL.

Just an example of a player we could have realistically signed, but ended up at a club of similar stature to ours.

Considering our total absence of a right winger in our team I don't think it is stupid.

Just a point of view Ian, no need to aggravate your ulcer about it FFS. Chill out

Yes I am his mum

John Madejski's Wallet
Crowthorne Royal Not 1 player IMO today deserved the Reading shirt (maybe a bit harsh on Hunt) and that more than anything is what's missing for me.......NO DESIRE.

Oh behave mate. Kitson was quality again today in terms of holding up the ball and laying it off/turning his man.

And he and Doyle were looking better and better as a pair as the game went on

you must have been watching a different game to me.......we didnt play well, couldnt string more than 3 passes together but we got the win and a clean sheet, that was more important than anything else today. We have played 100 times better this season and lost (Chelsea - home).

Kitson, Hunt and Doyle all played well......gunarsson, dubery, Rosenior all had shockers (well ok Rosenior is out of position) again today and its about time coppell made some changes....when did make changes he brought on Oster who also had a shocker.

I dont think Sonks has too much to worry about when he is fully fit....we need him and i suspect he may play some of the Blackburn game or the next home game aginst newcastle......

i am just glad we played derby today who were truly awful!

Gunnarsson was terrible but I thought the rest of the team did ok. Fae comes in I think we'll be fine,

Gunnarsson is simply not good enough - the others are going to get better and we will be ok...
