This isn't the time for tinkering.

I say we pick our most defensive possible 11, camp on the edge of our penalty box and die for the cause, hoping we might get a point.

I'll go:

USA
Murty
De La Cruz
Ingimarsson
Sonko
Bikey
Rosenior
Shorey
Duberry
Cisse
Kitson (as on outlet)

Gus the teenage cow after the result yesterday the arse will be as dejected as fcuk

they'll be playing their reserves, if we go out out there and really bully them we can sneak something
I'm sorry but this is just wishful thinking. Arsenal will be hurting after yesterday & will be determined to finish the season as strongly as possible & will see us as being the perfect way of ending their win-less run. We're going to be walloped out of sight & may as well go with RL's idea of playing a reserve side so as not to demoralise the supposed first team ahead of the Wigan game.

BUT YOU WONT SSC

Steve Coppell's rather hard to believe comments made today!!! Along with this He says he has lita fully in mind and is aware he can recall him. What are you waiting for STEVE? the derby game?

Does anyone feel as though he just says things as most fans wish him to do but he never actually carried out his actions!! Whats the point in saying them in the first place!!

It's quite immaterial really. Just play the eleven who put their hands up - those who want it most.

little on the right
convey on the left
henry/kebe on the bench
hunt and oster dropped

cisse harps and matejovski in the middle
fae on the bench

doobs for ivar-(on the bench)

kitson on his own up front
long on the bench

henry looked very sharp for the ressies, albeit vs charlton ressies
kebe also looked pretty strong and accomplished in the highlights
little looks as slow and genius as ever

Can't argue much with these changes, I'm not sure this would be the right opposition to bring Doobs back though. He should have played last saturday and man marked McBride, Fulham's best header of the ball.

SC will be tempted to bring him and also Murty in, when your struggling, sometimes that bit of experience and the ability to keep a cool head goes a long way. Always easier in hindsight but both players were probably more suited for the Fulham match than Arsenal's 'pace' game.

I agree entirely with Coppell that saturday is a no lose game, we've all written their chances off, the bookies will give you at least 7 or 8/1 for Reading just to win so maybe a bit of experimentation wouldn't be a bad thing. Find something that works then even if we get no points, may have taken something from the game for the next 3.

you're both nutters

play 4-5-1 against them is basiclaly a sign of surrender, let's go at them, they are more depressed than the english pound against the euro at the moment

i am really disliking shorey at the moment, so personally i'd love to drop him but we've no-one else, so keep the back four as is, play little wide right instead of oster, play oster in the middle instead of harper and convey in for hunt, up front kitson and doyle

lets play football and go at them

That 'sign of surrender' got a 0-0 at Old Trafford, this 4-4-2 isn't working, we haven't scored a goal in 3 games and just lost to Fulham, he needs to try something different. It might not work but if we attack Arsenal from the start we'll get hammered.

It doesn't make any difference how we line up.

We're still going to lose.

Henry
Marek

Im sure some will come up with the 'James Henry Fan Club' remarks, but the fact is he looks sharp, he is scoring goals, and he has pace......lets be honest there is no chance of either oster or little getting past Clichy

Rosenior

Ingy
Shorey
Oster
Marek
Harper
Hunt
Kitson
Doyle

And we will lose, but to be fair, it doesn't matter what team we put out, the chances are we will get thumped. We do not have a single player in our squad that would get close to the Arsenal subs bench at the moment.
