But it depends what the damage actually is - it could be just a strain, or it could be as serious as a tear.

Even the Harper haters must think we can't afford to sell him now!

Either that or we somehow have the money to buy about 3 central midfielders.

This could be a problem, hope it's only a few weeks, but we could be talking 3-6 months as well if we're unlucky.

he hasnt broken it so it wont be 3-6 months, it will be a few weeks. there is no need to panic and find a replacement, he will be fit for the start of the season, trust me i am a doctor.

Glen Little had an ankle injury and he was only out for 4 weeks.

He'll be back with 6 weeks. Not ideal, but could've been much worse.

Glen had achilles trouble, not ankle as such.

yeah that could reaccure much more easily then a strain to a ligament or something you need to get wacked quite hard for those to break i dont know butfrom my dads experiance achillies tendons are easy to bust (falling through a door while pissed) and could take a long time to heal

Looking on the bright side of this:

1. This must reduce the chance of anyone coming in for Marek before the transfer window closes.
2. It ought to focus the minds of Hammond/ Coppell on improving our midfield.

Other than that, let's hope it's just a minor sprain and not more.

reaccure = re-occur?
experiance = experience ?
achillies = achilles ?
dads = dad's ?
then = than ?

Three lines of type with no punctuation and no capitals. We are told that the standard of British education is not falling.

Phew!

---------

Given that Marek is finishing his season a month after the rest of the squad, him having a bit of a break now may not be a bad thing. If he's out for 4 weeks then he'll only miss 2 weeks of preseason and still be back 3 weeks before the season starts (roughly).

But the message was clear, and that's the point of language, written or otherwise.
