Vision Were'nt we quoted as making a 6m profit in our first Premiership season?
Now lets say that all that was invested in players does that come anywhere near to the sort of investment it would take for the scenario described in Coppell's quote to move forward and progress at Premier league level.

The chairman wants us to run at a profit, nothing wrong with that , but the days of him keeping us afloat are over and he's actively looking to sell up.

I'm sure there are ways in which they make the books looks more like they want them to at times.

I don't expect we've got 30m sat in the bank or anything like that, but I'm sure there is money there if needed, and don't forget that we've got a lot of cash from last season still to come.

It seems that the club won't spend the money we're supposedly due from the Prem years until it's been in the back for a while. Whether thats the correct strategy or not is a matter of opinion.

A Championship club with good infrastructure and genuinely healthy books or an established Prem club with shedloads of debt?

I know which would be the more astute investment for potential buyers
