Schards#2

But after Southampton, when we took 3,500 odd, the usual suspects bitched about day trippers ruining the atmosphere for the hardcore fans.

the crap support on Saturday had nothing to do with numbers and everything to do with the performance. Had there been 3500 day tripping motherfuckers it would have been all but unbearable.

As I wasn't in the country on Saturday, I couldn't possibly comment on the game. It would seem though, that I am not the only one who thinks Kebe is not a footballer.

Oh well, roll on a week on Tuesday.

our only attacking outlet for the entire game?

With Stephen Hunt hardly able to create a goal from open play (someone remind me when that was?), and the central midfield not exactly awash with creative players, Kebe is the only other option. Please tell me how he influenced the Swansea match positively, because when he ran with the ball, he got tackled, failed to deliver a cross of note, or passed the ball to the opposition. The one occasion he DID manage to complete a pass, he delayed it too long and Noel Hunt was offside.

just saying!!

(that means i cant give you any examples, other than being an out-let,of his positive impact for the entire swansea game-though it was a poor performance all round, and i dont think this should be taken as th eperfect example of why i think he is a good player)( )

When you dispatch last year's winners on their own patch it kind of puts a bit more perspective on our defeat last week. It does not excuse the performance but certainly shows that the Swans are in a rich vein of form.

We had better get auto promotion, because Swansea on an upward streak would cream us on a downward streak. They are probably the form team at the moment and could well make the play-offs.

Just like Burnley were a few weeks ago.

These streaks come and go in a season. The key is to win despite playing badly. The Royals definately have had that knack recently according to some posters.
