Wolfatthedoor
Royalee We'll see how you get on next season.

OK - how about we have a little wager - if Wolves get relegated, I'll give £10 to a charity of your choice - if we stay up, you pay £10 to one of mine.

Deal.

I can see Doyle going to Wolves. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Doyle went for £5 million.
As for the argument that he wouldn't fancy going to Wolves as they will go back down again I dont agree. Think Wolves will survive next season and beyond in the Prem.
Good luck to them. Decent club IMO.

Does remind me a lot of when we tried to get Lescott off you guys.

But we all thought someone bigger than Stoke would come in for Kitson and they never did and everyone thought someone would bid for Hunt in Jan and they never did.

BTW have Wolves fans seen S Hunt? Great player, would do a fantastic job for you guys. We'll just swap him for Kightly, day light robbery for you guys, but we'll let you off with it just cause Hunt as given this club so much.

Good luck next season, like Big Mick, comes across very funny in the media, esp after ur game here last season!!

Well, as the release clause is at £6.5m, I'd be surprised!

It is a decent club though, despite the vast majority of its fans sharing the same mother, and having one eye higher than the other.

I wouldn't at all, just because that is his release clause it doesn't mean they won't take less.

Personally I think you need to be putting some thought into the charity you're choosing. Because I suspect in a year's time they will be £10 better off.

there were bids for hunt. I think it was hammond saying that the club agreed a fee with a club but hunt didnt want to go to them.

Do get real. Why on earth would a club let their top striker go for less that the agreed release value? The only possible reason I can imagine is to reduce the wage bill - but they have only just negotiated his contract this year and so it is reasonable to assume that it was affordable.

It's not like Doyle is the sort to be really pushing for a move either.

roque santa cruz.

20 million release clause goes for 18million.

Only reason i can see is that the player wants to leave so an offer close to his clause would be hard to turn down.

Yep, happens all the time. No idea what WSM is on about, maybe Championship Manager doesn't allow it to happen or something.

Maybe Santa Cruz wanted to go?

Given recent history there is no reason to think we'll let Doyle go for less than his release clause.
