Stranded
ZacNaloen He's joined us in the winter transfer window, that must make him a free agent in January? It can only be a half season only loan.

Rosenior signed a two and a half year contract - I'd be amazed if we ever signed somebody and would allow them to be out of contract in the middle of a season.

And he didn't join us in a winter transfer window, he joined at the end of the summer transfer window in 2007.

If only Rosenior had your self awareness, he might not be at Ipswich

Good on Harps.

Couldn't we do with scoring a few more of those goal things?

That reminds me. I saw at the weekend that Alex McCarthy (on loan to Yeovil) had run into Nicholas Bignall (on loan at Stockport) just as he was coming in to try and score, resulting in McCarthy being red carded and allowing Stockport's Carl Baker to score the resulting penalty which he dedicated to his brother who had died from leaukemia a few days earlier by running to the stands and unveiling a t-shirt which had "For U Mike" written on it.

Probably not as interesting as Harper scoring though.

Bignall is at Stockport not Scunthorpe i believe.

also, was Mccartheys Red Card a deserving one?

and RIP to Bakers brother.

Damn it! Yes, Stockport, not Scunthorpe! I've just been checking tonights results and must have got mixed up.

You can judge for yourself if it was deserving or not here:

i;m not sure, was very hard to tell, as theres a pair of legs in the way of Mccarthy's hands and Bignall's feet.

All I can see from those highlights is that Bignall is as fast as lightening!

Harper hasn't really done much for Sheff Utd so far in the first half

His arm waving and pointing were superb tonight.

Couldn't help noticing that no one wanted to pass to him - he cut a lonely figure.

I began to notice that, kept wandering into positions unmarked but always got turned down for a speculative shot on goal or a riskier long pass.

Probably a few long memories of defeat after defeat after defeat and the being so comprehensively bettered two seasons in a row.

Maybe Mikkel is starting to develop into the goalkeeper we hoped he'd become. A season of regular football in L1, and he might be ready to challenge the inconsistent A-Fed.
