Not too bad I would say, considering who we have played.

sorry tim wouldn't expect you to know, you're not a fan. what the fcuk?

that interview just shows how deluded he is... nice one tim dellor, you've grown some balls and hit the nail squarely on the head, shame you didn't turn the screw as well.

Who the hell does Rodgers think he is. It's all about opinions and if some people think today's play was worse than Tuesday's they're entitled to say it without being told they're "not a supporter of this club". Arrogant barsteward. I'd love it, if JM told him tonight he thought we played better on Tues - wonder what he'll say to him.

Just go Rodgers before this club is dragged down any further.

Dellor needs to ask him some tougher questions - like why Mills is always on the bench yet he thought he was worth paying £2m for him, why has he stopped playing O'Dea? Why hasn't he brought back one of our other strikers from loan? What do the players do in training? Where is the leadership? What does Frank Lampard Sr actually do? For a bleeding start.

North Eaat royal Rodgers out.

End of discussion

the players out on the pitch must take their share of the blame today, we had enough chances and openings to win 2 games, but then its getting all so predictable, as bad as scunny were you could always see thev equaliser coming,

Recent form is reasonable in isolation. Unfortunately the first 14 games were frucking atrocious. Rodgers can't have long left without a good run. Back in the relegation zone by Xmas and he simply HAS to go.

fair enough, RL. I assure you it's depressing for us exiles too. That's another weekend ruined for me.

Can we cause a surprise at Bristol City. We might need to as the teams below us are at home.............

Oh I dunno.

Todays game was like seeing an old friend. A cold December floodlit game where we managed to give away a one nil lead to a woeful and struggling bottom of the table team. Moaning about the failure of players to put away chances, feeling dejected and miserable and trying to work out how we threw it away. Took me back 10, 20 years.

I really don't think that the current predicament is entirely Mr Rodger's fault. I think it's just a case of the players that we do have are not good enough(yet).

In terms of things that I think Brendan can affect at this moment in time is that when we win the ball, we ALWAYS give the defending team time to regroup into two sturdy banks of four and set themselves up defensively. This is why we always see so many blocked shots and panicked quickly taken efforts due to the fact that the opposing defence has regrouped. The rest is down to the players (save for a few) not being good enough.

I wouldn't give him that long, Ian. Not after this latest interview. He obviously can't take any form of criticism and has shown his contempt for the fans (those who pay his wages) who might not agree with him that we played well today.

Can't comment on the interview, or the quality of the performance in any real detail. But we sounded all over them and by far the better team, just incapable of putting the ball in the net and weak at the back as we continually pushed for a second/winner.

Remember we hit the woodwork 3 times, the keeper pulled off at least two or three very good saves. Siggy is obviously good enough. We just don't have enough natural goalscorers on the pitch.

Only Siggy and Rasiak even come close to that category, Marek, Howard, Cisse, Kebe, HRK & McAnuff won't score more than 10 goals between them the whole season!

Add in two slow centrebacks a young right back and a midfielder at left back and you're always likely to risk conceeding one. Esepcially if you are constantly searching hard for a goal.

As Dellor said, playing well means taking your chances and putting them away and we didn't. We should have murdered a team like Scunthorpe. They were woeful.

We have one or two players who could come good in a proper set-up with other experienced players.

My point, however, is that if a fan wants to say that he didn't think we played as well as we did on Tuesday (despite the result) then he should be entitled to say it, without some jumped Mourinho-wannabe talking down to him and telling him he's not a supporter for having the temerity to have a bloody opinion. I hope he is forced to apologise to Dellor and anyone else who agreed with Dellor's comments.

I don't think it's as simple as that and I'd disagree that means playing badly, but everything else there seems pretty spot on.

Strikers and supply have been our problem for 18 months of the last two years. Yes we needed to strengthern the defence when we lost Doobs and Bikey, but striker was still top priority and it's no surprise Long has played a tiny part and Church has only scored sporadically.

Rodgers has sorted out our problems with creating chances, but he did nothing to ensure we still had enough ability to convert them in the abscence of Doyle, Lita & Kitson.
