gazzer, loyal royal i got the impression that Griffin wouldn't come off-so McDermott had to get the 4th official to put the board up to get him off the pitch.

Very good team performance-Rasiak played well and thought Church's movement into the channels was very good. Kebe's best performance in a Reading shirt. I thought he was going to leave his second for Rasiak who was on a hat trick

Do you mean that? I thought it was only Kebe and the two colliding defenders that were anywhere near the ball at the time and Kebe's pace then enabled him to latch onto the loose ball and break clear to score. He would have had to have waited for a long time for Rasiak to catch up with him! (That's taking nothing away from the latter who had a very good game and, at times, showed a surprising amount of skill.)

Franchise FC
Zammo Great display all round. Best game at home since the Coppell glory days. I even clapped Kebe off when he was subbed.

Well done you - managing to forget your onvious prejudice to provide some applause for what apppears to be most viewers MOTM.

Erm.....that's why I clapped him off

Without going over old ground, Kebe has been generally shocking since he joined the club, he's now on a good run of about 5 games.......wow. I won't change my mind about the bloke until he does it week in, week out.

I actually went.

1) We battered Wednesday pretty much throughout - once we'd scored one, we were going to score more.

2) Tabb did so much good work covering and hassling.

3) I thought Church was going to cut back and lay the ball off instead of turning inside. That's the difference confidence makes.

4) LOLZ at the Wednesday defending for the 5th

Kebe has had bouts of bad form, but lets not forget how well he was playing during that period last season when we rose to second in the table. He and Hunt were unstoppable during that time--not just charging up the wings but hassling the opponents. So Kebe's present form is not his first good spell.

5 games is a short run of form.

He needs to do it over 10, 20 or an entire season. Not necessarily to this current run of form's degree. But he does need to more consistently produce over a longer period. We all (those with more than 3 braincells, anyway) know what he is capable of.

He was producing a lot for the first half of last season, despite looking quite poor.

I think we might be getting somewhere with him now thou... Just need to keep on his side over the next 10 games. He can't keep this up, but hopefully he'll maintain something considerably better than his previous slumps of form.

Go and look at the BBC website video - by the time Jimmy shot Rasiak was almost alongside him - at that stage we had 3 on 1 as Jay was also there on Jimmy's right and Rasiak on his left.
