Anyone notice the stewards preventing Koran from going over and celebrating with the West Brom fans after his admittedly brilliant strike? What killjoys, eh?

Palace getting gubbed 2-0 tonight with 10 men; 9 points behind Reading having played 2 games more. Cheerio. Scunny winning handsomely again; I have thought for a while that they are a better side than given credit for, throwing some predictions back in people's faces because they really seem to fight for their manager. Looking like there is a slim chance that we might avoid the bottom three now, hurrah. In fact a point tomorrow night and we go top half  .

Two thirds of the division played tonite, we didn't --and we slid back exactly one place as Brizz beat Barnsley at home

QPR and Derby played to a draw, which'll work just fine

Janners beat Ipswich away, which also does us no harm

Blackpool beating Swansea and Boro beating Preston won't help us in the fight for a spot among the top six (and in fact hurt), but that's for the other thread I guess

Oh dear, I may've guessed wrong on Scunny --how'll I ever live that one down; really should've looked at their upcoming fixtures, seen no-hopers Peterborough on there and, in no-brainer knee-jerk fashion, made a safer choice

Yes it will - Swansea now more catchable than Cardiff.

Tomorrow's game is huge.

^ True (and ignoring the potential for Cardiff to get 10 points lobb'd off), but Blackpool are in between, now up to 7th on 54 with the win

Draw would've been preferable from our point of view, I've got to think (but I'll admit to being even hazier'n usual)

Ian Royal I still fancy Scunny to survive on sheer guts alone. They know they aren't good enough. They know they've got a massive fight on their hands. So I don't think it will get to them psychologically the way it will to a team like Palace, QPR, Watford, Wednesday or us.

I'm sticking by Scunny to survive on tenacity, only to probably go down heavily next season. Plymouth are making a good fight of it. Palace and Wednesday must be looking at Plymouth anxiously and Watford (+ each other) hopefully IMO.

I'd completley overlooked the whole "Cardiff into administration" angle. That would be something special! 8)

Avon Royal Tomorrow's game is huge.

Not really, we have little or no chance of a top six place in reality given our tough run-in. It is an unrealistic target and persoanlly I don't think that we'd benefit from any freak set of circumstances which took us into the play-offs.

Freak circumstances like us winning an absolute shitload of games in 2010? To be honest, were we to get 25 from our remaining ten games (as we did our last ten), I'd fancy us in the playoffs and next season.

Surely this thread should be moved to general football now. Instead we need to start "mid-table watch"

The genius of the location is that it can now be taken as an ironic statement 8) .

 Or even a Schardsesque prediction to be cashed in as prescient when we do one day get relegated (from the top division of the European Super League  )

Tbh, at the time it was a fair call as we were shit and were going down. You can't criticise him on his observation back then with the luxury of knowing what has changed since then. :|

Yes, yes, maybe.

But what is the point of being a football supporter if not to dream?
