Woodcote Royal The answer is simple. The likes of Bikey and Marek were there purely to play second fiddle to his favourites whereas the likes of a Butt or a Savage; the sort of attainable signings who would have given us a real chance of staying up, would not have been happy with a few outings in the cup.

Coppell believed in Bikey, Bikey let himself down, time after time, then again why and who put Bikey forwards as Prem player, we will never know

Wimb You have got to be jokingyou think SSC deliberatly sidelined players and dented our chances of winning just because he was mates with players? This the same manager who dropped Shunt and Kitson for the Burnley game last year, one of the biggest matches in our history.
Every manager has favourites yes, but they are usually favourites for the reasons that they perform or have a strong history of performing for him. Perhaps he left some players in for too long hoping they would bounce back, but meh win some lose some.
Utterly stupid to try and play the 'would siggy be playing now' game.

A fantastic retort but for several small, but I feel crucial points. It's impossible to get BBCRBerkshire in Cambridgeshire. You don't need to go to games to comment on selection policy involving favourites vs young'uns. It's bad idea to argue about individual match incidents with anyone who has half a brain who was there, but overall management quality and how the season as a whole went, not so much of a problem.

That's the only reason he keeps getting a place on the bench and a cameo sub appearance - He needs to be in the shop window. The Goat was fed What's his contract situation? The biggest irony is that we might actually get some decent cash off some second rate European outfit if he's got some contract to run.
