Why is it a result of "bullshit" from the new owner? McDermott had a lot of money left to spend at the close of the window. More than he spent on Chris Gunter and Adrian Mariappa in fact; but he chose, for whatever reason, not to spend it.

It has now come out, straight from the horses mouth, that he did in fact spend ALL of the budget he had.

So will you now accept that you are/were entirely wrong, and that there was no more money to be spent?????

Dick Advocaat is being linked with Brian McDermott's job at Reading.

Tvoi Den says Reading's Russian owner Anton Zingarevich is considering PSV Eindhoven chief Advocaat as the Royals struggle to snap their winless streak this season.

Former Russia coach Advocaat is on a one-year deal at PSV and a favourite of Zingarevich.

The Dutchman has always wanted to work in the Premier League, having enjoyed great success in Scotland with Rangers.
