Dave-RoyalCountryRoyal Having thought about it, whilst considering his managerial and tactical shortcomings, I wouldn't object to having McD back on a short term contract until the end of the season regardless of promotion or not.
It would be nice to have someone in charge that actually cares about the club again.

genome A friend of mine close to the club says there hasn't been much in the way of progress and it's doubtful we will have anyone in place before Preston. Apparently none of the candidates mentioned so far are nailed on or remotely close, so McD rumour is most likely just a result of betting patterns.
