Very interesting read. Funny that the Dai's viewed their offer in the summer as a promotion for him, but many would say manager is the most prestigious job (though certainly the most insecure).

Maybe it's not as chaotic as it appeared at the time though; a clear plan which unfortunately one of the most important stakeholders couldn't buy into. Would still like to see us fill the DoF role.

Bit odd to hire a replacement for a guy you want to promote before you have apparently offered him the role / had him accept.
