Hound Lee Johnson sacked by Sunderland. Thought they were doing ok as well, though saw they crumbled Reading style on Saturday

Let’s keep this to championship chat. We can talk about Sunderland next season when we are in league 1.

Getting used to it early. Already getting familiar with the league 1 table

Lower West Over 32k in attendance today at Pride Park. Rooney is a born fighter. Despite their financial woes the momentum lies firmly with Derby. As the club is pulling together as one.

Fcuk them. Ghastly club. Ripped off all their suppliers and bankrupted small businesses.

Rooney looks like he regularly fights to get to the cake trolley.

Well quite

Derby are currently averaging 1.28 points a game, they need to up that to 1.66 to get to 45 points, they did ok today but they weren`t in it until the last 10 minutes when scoring from 2 set pieces.
plenty of fighting spirit yes but they will suffer blips before the curtain comes down, whether we are good enough to take advantage is a different matter.

Sick of them and their cheating. They should be forced to sell their player assets rather than trying to get away with it and pay less to their creditors.

LOL at derby needing 45 points to finish above us and Peterborough. No way are we getting another 23 points  that 7 wins and two draws from our remaining 18 games

40 points will be enough for safety this season

And obvs the great fighting spirit story today completed by the player who they bought but couldn’t afford and still haven’t paid for

Still got the narrative on their side now

tidus_mi2 The way both teams are playing, Peterborough vs Reading could be the worst game in the history of the Championship and it's on Sky.

Huddersfield v Reading at Wembley is the current “leader” on that list

So did we under Branfoot and 1) we didn’t sack him and 2) still won the title. It’s a ridiculous decision.

Sunderland supporters will never be happy. They are in a decent position despite the Bolton defeat, they needed to just stick together and ride it out. I'm no fan of Lee Johnson but his dismissal is really unfair.

All the teams around around are playing with pride Cardiff, derby, Hull even Barnsley put up a good show at Barnsley.
We just roll over and die once we concede.

We've shown very little desire against teams we weren't expected to beat but have managed to look good and then collapse against teams in more winnable games.

So there is hope there but it is quickly extinguishing.

Obviously I wouldn't want to swap places with Derby, given that they don't know whether they'll still exist in 2 months time. But at a time of adversity, it looks like the whole club is pulling in the same direction and it shows on the pitch, while nothing of the sort is on show here. If they catch, they'll deserve it.

Can’t agree unless they pay their debts. Otherwise they are cheating the system. They are keeping all of their best players and doubtless looking to get out of paying creditors in full. It should not be allowed. They are getting away with it big time and it may well be at our expense. If our club was in any way properly organised we would be challenging the EFL over this right now.

Looks like Bournemouth are continuing to take the piss with £3.5m for Keifer Moore.

Going all Keegan, I'd just love it if they don't get promoted.
