Sun Tzu
readingbedding I hadn't seen anything so one-sided at home since Fulham last season.

Perhaps you should have stayed for the second half then ?

I did.
It was not a game of two halves.

I'm not sure taking one point from 6 relates to anything Schards mentioned.

Mid table ?

Lack of team spirit ?

Lack of interest from Coppell ?

Dull and uninteresting ?

Unlikely...if we end up where we are at the end of the season Shards will probably say that 3rd is what he considers as 'mid table'!!!

These latter responses are truly pathetic imo. Still, saves finding a new whipping boy I suppose.

You must be using a truely original definition of 'whipping boy' there....

No, but he's the one who wrote the original thread and steadfastly refuses to acknowledge that it's been totally debunked.

It wouldn't take much swallowing of pride to admit that his reaction after Ipswich was wrong.

Any whipping is entirely self inflicted here.

Is it the end of the season? Have we already made progress and gone back to the Premiership? Until then, I wouldn't gloat. As has been said time and again, if at the end of the season he's been proved wrong, he'll be man enough (and very happy with the outcome) to admit it. Until then, bringing this thread up at every opportunity is puerile in the extreme.

Schards has been misquoted and merely stated that we would have a sluggish start.

Not as puerile as changing the goalposts when proved to be wrong....

Where has anyone changed the goalposts. At the time of starting this thread, he was very disillusioned. He has stated from the outset that he doesn't see us getting promoted this season and possibly ending up mid table. This is still a reality, depending on what happens in January. When we win, he's ecstatic - believe me!

Apparantly the FA are to get clubs to use yellow goals posts iof winter beckons, same as the yellow ball, easier to see, hence easier to hit.

Paul Brayson has asked if barn doors can also be painted yellow.

Royal Lady Where has anyone changed the goalposts.

He never said anything about the end of season. He said he expected us to be mostly in midtable. Then he changed that to end of season.

Goal post moving, or what?
