I do wonder how much long they've got, surely they can't go on for that much longer if they cannot provide proof of funds?

Maybe another points deduction is looming...

I don’t think they’ll get another extension; think you must have misheard Morgan

Doubt they’ll get kicked out either though tbh (yet anyway)

A reporter on Talkshite was stating that the administrators were brokering a deal for the weekend....and they believed Mike Ashley was the buyer but Ashley's people have said not and it's all gone quiet.
As it says above, Bury weren't so lucky.
I can't help but feel they are getting special treatment.

So no extension but no evidence they can fund themselves until the end of the season....what happens next?

Sorry yes no formal extension like the one before

Suspect they’ll bend the rules to give them a few more days to confirm the bidders

tidus_mi2 Man West Brom are shit.

They must be close to bottom of the current form table.
Given we’re in it and so are Posh, that’s some going

Seven points in our last four games. We will be ok form table wise.

Rumour going round is that the bids on the table do not meet the threshold to pay back the minimum 25p in the pound required by EFL rules.

So club either comes out with another 15pt penalty or if funds aren't there are expelled.

I would have thought that HMRC won't wait forever for their money; as a tax payer I demand that they insist on being paid today!!

interesting. Pretty outrageous that - is that not paying 25p per pound back to the HMRC? Disgusting if true - blow a load on players wages, get into debt and don't pay it back to the govt

It’s why I have been so annoyed that they were not selling players in January. Factor in the media love in and it’s been nauseating.

Seems like they're essentially banking on getting another points deduction because they're going down anyway, in the hope the FL won't have the guts to kick out a big high profile club with a former England captain and top goalscorer as manager. Rather than actually paying their dues
