Taking out our next 3/4 fixtures, that looks quite favourable really. The games I aren't looking forward to are both Sheff United and Luton away, but even then Luton could be our of the play off race come the final day. The rest are very much winnable as it is right now.

Barnsley's run in worries me but they are back to back now until the break and have a small squad. If someone has to win on Sat i'd rather it was Derby.

I think if Derby don't win on Sat it may be game over.

As it is now if we get a point a game until teh end of the season they need 2 a game to pass us.

Their current PPG average suggests they will end up mid 30's

Given those fixtures I cannot see Posh staying up. I can see Barnsley surviving though.

Yep - Barnsley are my biggest worry, too. I fear we may need to leapfrog Hull or Cardiff.

Bear in mind, considering the points deduction, we've been at the very least, 9pts better than Barnsley across the season so far. Anyway, I don't want to lose another oxf*rd race to Barnsley, play offs last season was just frustrating, relegation could be horrific for us, I just feel Barnsley will be able to manage relegation far better than we would so they should just take one for the team (us).

I can’t see us catching either of them.

We have more teams in the current top ten left to play than them.

I am tempted to come down for the Cardiff or Swansea games, it would mean travelling down with rival supporters  on the train but would not be returning as I would stay with my Daughter overnight  The problem is the Abertawe game is Easter Monday and the other half has organised a family gathering up here.

That`s not what I said is it. just because the are not top 10 sides doesn`t make them easy. they have to go to Sheffield utd, Millwall Swansea Huddersfield Blackpool and WBA, as well as home games against Fulham and Stoke.

I admit I have paid very little attention outside the bottom 5/6 but there's little in our remaining fixtures that scare me.

Derby administrators appear to be ghosting the EFL right now, must be worrying signs for them.

A lot of Derby fans on twitter seem to be saying that the administrators aren't telling EFL anything because the EFL leak stuff to the press and the EFL will only know when the deal has been complete, which seems a bit... odd. I wonder if there has been an uptick in tin foil purchases in the Derby area over the last week or so?

I didn’t suggest it is what you said so stop getting all high and mighty.
Of the teams you mention WBA are in dire form, Stoke in very poor form, Swansea have been pretty poor most of the season and Blackpool have been very erratic

Mr Angry
Pepe the Horseman For all the love in about the possibility of a great escape, Derby have buckled under the first bit of pressure.

That red card for Lawrence was significant; 3 games without him, 3 defeats.

Good point.

I think the big fear with Barnsley comes down to them winning 3 of their last 4 games really, but they've won 5 all season. They are probably going to have to keep the pace up with their results between now and May and I can't see them doing that.

If we can beat them at their place, we will survive. The positive side is we have an excellent record against Barnsley both home and away.

Yep - at times like this it's all about momentum and confidence. Barnsley seem to be picking some up at the moment - we were, but it all remains to be seen if Blackpool was just a temporary blip or reversion to our norm.
