Might be a dodd but if he was wearing the training shirt for a medical, why would he be having it at the stadium?

He was staying at the hotel and was being shown around the stadium, before heading off to do the medical

Which it seems there is something we are not happy aboout.....similar to Wright-Philips when we tried signing him

Maybe just maybe Drenthe failed his medical, look at the size of him in that picture compared to when he played for Everton in 2011/12. The guy has a ego that's obvious, so maybe he jumped the gun and asked his agent/dad to take a picture in RFC training gear mid-way through the medical.

I really can't see it going tits at this point. The club got some kit for him to wear for a photoshoot, he didn't raid the megastore and sneak in! You don't wear official merchandise unless you sign, so this is done. Last week we were closing on 2 signings, so the chances are we are still trying to conclude one more signing!

It wouldn't surprise me if we had all of the equipment, necessary to undertake a medical, at the stadium.

Has Cesar signed for Chelsea?

Why does Luiz have his tongue hanging out every time he poses for a picture? Does he have a fat tongue like Jamie Oliver?

None of these examples got pitchside in kit provided by the club with the clubs permission, unless you are saying he snuck out there and took some cheeky snaps...

As said he was in kit for medical - else he would have posted a better pic than that (ie one of him holding scarf etc) which whoever took this pic would have also seen

He failed the medical - why hasn't his agent/him/the club said any more

I almost don't want it to go through as it will take on legendary status and will be referenced for years to come

Funny that the medical took place at the Madejski Stadium. We usually book a private hospital. All change under Anton, can't keep up.

How many pages did the Tommy Smith thread reach in the end?

Given Billy Sharp's little tweet earlier, you could presume that if the signing had not happened or was delayed, the following would have happened:

1. The club would have probably made some statement about him posing in the kit and saying he had joined, 'The process is still ongoing, matters to resolve' blah blah yada yada, of just an outright denial saying he failed the medical.

2. If there was a delay to his signing, his agent would have probably piped up and said something. If not to pass on the information, than to at least alert other potential purchasers (Palace :?: :D ) that he was still available. As we know to our cost he's not ours until he signs on the dotted line. I also think given the agent's propensity to chat, if an issue had arisen at the medical he would ahve said something.

I am making the presumption he has signed, I don't know it as fact as the club have not announced it, but the photo along with no further comment from the agent makes me believe he has. Why the club have chosen to keep silent is a different matter (and presumably asked those involved to as well). It is ludicrous that we have all seen the Instagram of him in the kit, so not to even issue a low key something on the website like for Bridge (although like a lot of other people, this has led me to the odd :?: moment). So I guess we will have to see.
