Got to say also that jem karacan must be in the running for player of the season, played most our games, and is getting better and better.

He's definately won me over, mainly because of the fact that his passing has vastly improved. I also think he is a crucial part of the feelgood factor amongst the squad at the moment.

AthleticoSpizz RoyalBlee...has Ian Harte been caught in a clinch with your partner or something?

Why do we always get these droll digs towards posters, as if the RTG brigade cannot countenance a fellow poster basically just not rating a player for reasons of said player's footballing ineptitude? I tend to sympathise a lot towards RoyalBlue's concerns regarding Harte's all-too-many limitations, and surely it is the purpose of this message board to let of steam and rant away as much as one wishes about some of the garbage we pay to watch? Better than slating a player at the game surely? Not that I care; I do both 8)

As you've decided to post the same over charitable excuse in this thread too:

A mistake maybe, but coming from a highly paid defender, an effing stupid and inexcusable mistake. As aforementioned nothing like the 'mistake' a keeper makes if he fumbles a cross or misjudges a shot. To be at the same level of stupidity the keeper would have to pick the ball up well outside his area or place it down at the feet of an opponent! Just what did Harte expect Feds to do!

I will now try not to write anything more on Harte's mistake (simple or stupid) in this particular game. Let's hope he doesn't leave himself so open to criticism in future games.

so he did have your missus then

only jokin' winky smilie and all that

could've been worse, Harte didn't actually score for them.....unlike the brilliant goal that Tamas of WBA scored against WBA....mistakes happen and all that

as an uneasy bout of peace decends

You also fail to realize its not his first mistake either, he has made many. He's not upto it, play him on the left wing, put mcanuff next to mikelele and armstrong at left back if anything. Or just straight swap him for armstrong.

There was this one, and the chest-down error

What others?

As I posted earlier in the thread, I thought Harte was very good aside from his mistake. He was good on the ball, his set pieces were excellent and I don't remember the Hull right winger getting much change out of him.

With regards to the state of the pitch I thought the wear near the goal was from goal keeping practice in a spare net maybe.

Wasn't there Saturday so probably for the best by the sounds.
LOL at Harte's mistake. Just one of those moments I'm afraid people.

Was a bit disappointed to hear McDermott slagging off the officials yet again.

It's pretty much every week now and it doesn't do him any favours, especially after his 'I won't be blaming the refs' comments when he first took over.

And the pitch.
I suppose that's what happens to you when the first year of management has passed by,you get in the same boring rut as most managers:-
Blame the officials
Blame the pitch
We should have won that game.

Yes but to be fair if I was a manager and witnessed the appalling Championship refereeing and linesman standards week after week I think I would blow a gasket.

But we should have won it.
The pitch was poor
The ref was weak
The West Stand Lino was a joke
