howser Thought a good game overall, they hit the post we had a couple cleared off the line, a fair result all in all, opposite view to many on here but I thought the ref was ok, took his time to make decisions, yes he could have sent the Burnley lad off but likewise if he was more fussy he could have sent kaspers off so thought he done ok.

Except that Kasssssparssssss was seriously unlucky to get the first yellow (unless someone can tell me what he did wrong) and pulled out of the second challenge completely.

Did you like what you saw?

Probably not used to a proven striker coming in and actually scoring goals...

It wasn't a gr8 game - a draw probably would have been a fair result.

You know - I actually take it as a result when you refrain from biting.

But you are correct, they had two great headers hit the post, and the 1-on-1 with Feds, id feel a bit disappointed being a Burnley fan.

But Reading close out games really well. Broke down play and closed it out. They keep on going out and doing what needs to be done.

For some reason, I do fear for this team in the Premier League though :S

they had two ten minute periods where they caused us a couple of problems.
for th erest of the game we were wlel on top imo.
a drw would have been unfair.

yes they hit the wood twice, but we had two cleared off the line, had other very decent chances and kebe could have scored at the end.

Hitting the post is a MISS

Hitting the bar is a MISS

And a keeper making a great save, isn't that what he's there for?

100% agreed.

them having two ten minute spells, and hitting teh woodwork does not mean they deserved a draw imo
only one team deserved to win that game, and it was us

Didn't Snowball have some set of useless stats where he counted hitting the post/crossbar as half a goal?

Its up there with being fouled in the box counts as an assist for a scored pen!

Winning a pen is usually given as an assist
