The Prisoner Stan Collymore has just tweeted that he thinks Southampton, us & Leeds will go up on the back of his Talksport phone in. Fair to say the Hammers fans are giving him some grief. How very dare he....

Thanks for the recognition Stan!!!!!

Yeah just seen that!! We don't want the media coverage tho, do we!??!

Surely Leeds will need to win at the MadStad to make the POs?

Daily Mail think we'll finish 3rd.

What do they know!

The Daily Mail don't seem to make any justification for putting West Ham 2nd, so a good piece ends in un unexplained conclusion. They say WHU are playing badly, and we are playing well. Then move on to who will get in the play offs.

Poor journalism from the Mail, who'd a thunk it

That has to be the most turgid article I think I ever did see. Journalism by numbers. The author hasn't even been allowed to put his name to it!!!! Makes Jonny look good.

Still UP THE IRON! COME ON YOU HAMMERS! YOU ARE A HUGE CLUB! BFS ALL THE WAY!*

Tbf Leeds is a bit of a random shout - they're 10th, 4 points behind 9th and 5 points behind 6th at the moment - and 4 teams above them have a game in hand

TBF, if they make the play offs their form will be such they'll have a great shout.

Although I can't really see them making it.

Leeds have a few easier-looking games

If they can get a run together starting immediately, they've a bit of a chance
especially as they could beat Cardiff and or Blackpool and damage them.

But you'd want 33-1 against them getting to the POs and then winning

H 2-0 Nottingham Forest
A 1-0 Millwall
H 3-0 Watford
A 1-0 Reading (only joking)
H 2-1 Derby
H 2-0 Peterborough
A 1-1 Blackpool
A 1-1 Cardiff
H 2-1 Leicester

W7 D2 23 Points

77 Should be enough, 74 might be.

They are as low as 10-1. Ridiculously poor odds

Odds for promo or notoriously rubbish. We are just 1.57 with Betfair and Brum and the field (no chance of auto) are 4.2 plus. Considering they are going into a lottery they haven't even qualified for yet that just seems weak, but I suppose they have to hedge against people backing a selection and taking advantage of longer odds.

Have to say that Cov and Donny @ 85s are probably a waste of a pound tho!

(but rather bizarrely Pompey are 38s - better than Derby!!!!!!)

I wonder if Collymore still think Leeds are going up via the play-offs after losing 3-7 at home to Nottm Forest last night....

1 win in 6 under Colin suggests they already have a run going.

No - he dropped Leeds for Wham during that game!

Let's face it....Saints are almost a cert, but I can see us and Wham giving it the old "after you" trying to hand it to each other for the next few weeks.

We can officially retire this thread as apparently BRIGHTON are the new "under the radar" team:

I am glad that the BBC sports reporter and most commentators here are forgetting the dark horse this year, namely Brighton.
Not a "fashionable"team,so most just forget about them but under Gus they are winning and playing exciting football.I agree that if they were to get promoted they would need to seriously strengthen but there again,so would the other teams.
So just keep on about your Southampton's,Reading's West Hams',that will be to Brighton's advantage.

Can we not maybe fly above the radar rather than scurryingly along below it? I feel that's a more fitting way for us to travel...
