TBM Yeah but normally if its crap you come out and tell us........you haven't :D

We have spoken to McCleary, so the rumour has some foundation. I heard that we were hopeful of completing this shortly - but until you see him holding a Reading shirt then nothing is guaranteed, as we learnt with Tommy Smith. He's very sought after, but the club seem confident (but then they did about announcing TSI two weeks ago...)

Friday's Legacy - just out of interest, how do YOU know so much about what goes on at the club?

How many times are YOU going to ask me this? I get the feeling YOU feel you NEED to KNOW everything? It must be a woman thing.

I asked on here, because I hadn't seen you reply to the same question on the TSI thread. I don't NEED to KNOW ANYTHING. I'm often privvy to a number of things - most of which I don't share on here. You just seem to know EVERYTHING and ANYTHING and I wondered how. I thought you were in marketing or something - not related to the club.

Icelandicstokie is by far a more trusted poster than Fridays Legacy

He is by far the more accurate.

I doubt even he will have heard much about the TSI deal though!

For what it's worth I take most of what is written on this website with a pinch of salt.

Most of it is b*lls**t

So RL thinks FL works in Marketing.

FL also works a "journalist" for Oddschanger. He seems to have first hand access to someone of a reasonably senior level within the club.

Perhaps someone in the media side of things who is privvy to announcements before they happen. I.e TSI announcement, almost word for word...

Perhaps he met this person through his marketing work, or they are old friends from college/uni and he is using this link to his advantage with his journalism work?

Just a thought.

Well apparently, from reading this forum - the club do their business out in the open, at the bar, in the hotel.

Like some else said, I read this forum, but take it with a massive pinch of salt - If we look back at all the 100% confirmed rumours over the past few years, we actually have more of them that turned out bollocks than real. Which tells its own tale!

Salt is bad for you and it has often already been added to ready-made food in high quantities.

TheWearing Deal will be completed by Wednesday!
A new winger means Antonio must be off to Wednesday.
We love free transfers!

...so exactly what time today can we expect this deal to be completed ??...or is it a case of "next week" Wednesday ??

Which transfer did FL actually call? The JR and Cywka ones were quite obvious as they were all over the Internet befor HNA? picked up on them. Not doubting, just wondering...

No they weren't - I got Cywka if you check the thread. Local paper took it from there 8)

Ah I see, couldn't be bothered to check so I just assumed it was from a paper. FWIW I don't actually think FL is very reliable at all.

Yet I said earlier today when a reliable source contacted me, not the other way around, that Anton had been out of the country a week; and then several posts later another poster confirmed he is in Miami. Also I told you all that the club were readying a statement about where we were with the takeover (at a time when we hadn't heard anything for quite some time), and a few days later we had one. It was to reassure us that all was well but was delayed somewhat, and it contained much of what I was told it would contain, in some parts word for word. As for me being reliable? No, probably not. My opinions are as varied as the next guys, but the people I rely on for the odd bit of information are very reliable.

FL has been spot on with about 3 players coming in all before they broke in the press, to his credit. And with TSI as well. I don't think he can be doubted for having a reliable source at all. You might choose not to like him, but I'd rather read his posts than many others on here who add absolutely nothing to the forum.

If Mariappa signs then he got that right too. Or at least he told us we were interested and a bid was on the table. I saw tonight on the better of the two forums (Royals Rendezvous) that Watford have accepted a bid, and various Twitter sources seem to point towards Reading.
