blueroyals Steve Claridge at it again

"Wigan have had three or four fantastic chances which they have not done well with. Reading's goal was against the run of play as Wigan should be ahead."

Spot on. I have no idead how Wigan haven't got at least two and my stream was so bollox to start with I missed most the first 25 minutes. We've had a few half chances and a hell of a fk and header from Morrison to put us ahead.

Gorkss has only dropped one or two clangers. McAnuff and Gunter giving too much space on the right, but if they do go out further there's room inside them to attack. And Gunter with the challenge that stopped a certain goal earlier, so I don't feel like giving him a particularly hard time.

Morrison has been largely immense again. Shorey also. Most the other outfield players a bit mixed. Gorkss poor.

If he keeps up this form I predict he'll go to Chelsea to replace Terry in the summer.

Morrison MOM so far even without the goal. He has really shown a cool head and wonderful positioning. Gorkss utter shite. He's running around like he's just spun around in circles a half dozen times...

Wigan should have scored 2, but our goal definitely wasn't against the run of play (what I was alluding to). We've definitely matched them first half.

That's a shame Ian as at 25 minutes we had 5 shots to Wigan's 1.

The BBC stats look very promising, more shots on target, more possession and less fouls.

Same story every week, Gorkss and Gunter both incapable at this level

Yep...we are up 1-0 away from home at HT. I'd say that is solid so far. The announcers seem very impressed with Morrison...

We'd just been under the cosh forpretty much 10 minutes solid, broke out won a fk and scored. That is by absolute definition against the run of play. Our period of pressure was about 15 - 20 minutes earlier.

Statisticians Opta on Twitter: "0 - Wigan Athletic are the only team yet to claim a point from a losing position in the Premier League this season. Deflated."
