It does seem most of his deliveries aren't so great, but one or twice a game he gets it spot on. Ronaldo has done very well out of playing like that, the 90% of stuff he does which is completely wasteful is just cut out of the highlights package.

Royal Ginger We're still in it, just a set back.

Yeh, we move on!

etc. etc. "we could have been ahead" "decision went against us" et al.

The problem is we use the same set piece tactic every time, and teams have worked it out. No plan B!

Actually think the ref's given us more than our fair share of decisions today. Makes a nice change...

That was epicly poor timing.

What from you?

Harte's set plays are either too far to the back post or don't even go past his first man. For a team who rely heavily on them, we have a very hit & miss taker, mainly miss.

We didn't look bad at all in the first half. Alfie rattled one off the bar. We forgot to keep an eye on Fellaini and that is the difference so far. Everton does not look strong at the back, we still have a chance getting something here...

Cue him adding a Royal to the six reds he has already dished out this season!

Yes from me. He's clearly been told to find Pearce, which he has done almost every time.

Much better than any Everton set pieces. Glad Harte's on our side.

What professional can delivery perfectly every time? And who can deliver better for £35k?

He's just about finding him, but it's always a little overhit and Pearce has often been stretching too much to get a good connection back across goal.

Predictably, we look more dangerous going forward but wide open through midfield and ready to disintigrate at any point in defence. Where Legs was for Fellaini's goal I have no idea. Until then he'd done a reasonable job of tracking him. Why not one of the 5 players marking our six yard line didn't step out and pick up Fellaini I have no idea. It's a real return to the start of the season that. And we had the warning shot that Mariappa's head saved. We just don't appear to think that picking up attackers in our box is important.

We're also vulnerable wide as our undermanned central midfield drops into defence leaving it easy to overload our flanks.

Kebe is a loss as he looked up for it. McAnuff's got a real battle on his hands and is doing a fair amount of damage. ALF should have scored. Harte's setpieces are all mediocre. All the non-direct set pieces are the same and they're all way over hit. The direct one was at least over the wall. Taylor's been fine. HRK against Baines isn't much of a contest so far.

Much like our first game against Everton we're still very much in this though and you know there's goals in the side if the right chance comes along. But... can we avoid conceeding more? I doubt it.
