kwik-silva
Ascotexgunner I think we've got loads of good options. This is a really good squad thats been assembled, in fact I think we are gonna cruise this season to promotion.

Famous last words

As long as the players go out with confidence and not expectation we should be alright. There's plenty of them who know how to harness the pain of disappointment and use it to drive them on.

What do we think about Roberts? 35 years old but should be getting back to full fitness soon and still an incredible player at this level.

Been out for the best part of a year now, its going to take alot more than a few training sessions and friendlies to get back to match fitness

Ok, but do we think he will feature much this season? Easily our best player.

Hope so. Looked like our only striker who could do something with the ball this year.

A back 5 in a league we are supposed to be one of the favourites to win? I don't think we will be that insecure at the back.
Also what about Williams?

Obita has just tweeted this to Nick Arnold (on loan at Wycombe)

"me, hec, Lawson, Dom and jake went with 1st team to a spa done loads of running lol"

So, it looks like Obita, Hector, D'Ath, Samuel and Taylor are training with the first team. I guess it also means that D'Ath and Taylor must have signed the contracts they were offered in the summer....

They'll all get a chance to prove they should get a chance. Those that don't will almost certainly get League 1 loans. Hopefully D'Ath, Obita and Samuel will do enough to get a chance on the bench occasionally. It'd be great to see some young fearless quality coming in and bringing that energy with them.

When Oldham played Everton in the cup I thought Obita looked very good and of course he has raw pace.

Put him a team that will see more of the ball against a lesser opposition and I think he will make a big impact.

He seemed to struggle for fitness in those Oldham games.

Lots of praise for Royston Drenthe from Adkins. Got the impression everyone has been very impressed with what they've seen so far #readingfc

I have to say, thus far I've been very impressed with the new EP guy tbf
