St. Brynjar Very good few days for Reading.

I hope I'm right about a dip in form for Leicester.

Man Friday What's our possession stats been like to a team we're playing at home that's 15 places lower than us in the league?

lol yeah atkins out brian and gibbo in!!1111!

4th place, another gr8 set of results, cheers 8)

No way Atkins out, not with these results (forget the performances - it's the results that count, you don't get 3 points for performances, it's not ice-skating).

Adkins IN! (Well, stay.)

I make that 30 seconds after the final whistle before the first negative post. Bravo.

Why is that negative? I'm not at the match so am just asking, seeing as it's supposedly a key objective these days.

Oh, come on that was dripping with passive-aggressiveness

winchester_royal QPR's match stats: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25098375

^Before anyone (i.e. Man Friday) starts off.

Though we do have Bournemouth coming up on Saturday... :?

See. I've been saying all along that possession isn't important! Now everyone's jumping on the bandwagon. Phew, so good to be proved right (as usual).

I was gonna do a Sharp 1-0 scorecast, but thought there's no way we'd only score one. What a nob.

That was, without doubt, the most shambolic last 20. Mins of a game I have seen in years. If it wasn't for harlton being horrendusly mediocre we'd have been annhilated.

We got so used to them giving us the ball at every opportunity we forgot what to do when they started playinv like they'd actually heard of football before.

A word on akpan. The worst midfield display I can remember seeing for us. He should have been hauled off within 5 mi utes of going on. He totally changed the game for the worst. We went from a bit poor but mostly omfortably in control to being absolutely destroyed. It must have been about 80 - 20 possession if not worse in those last 20. We couldnt string anything together

Terrible 2nd half. Luckily, again we've been rescued by the shitness of the opposition.
Interesting Nigel subbed off the goalscorer, the assist maker and the player who hit the post. :|
Cue, "oxf*rd off 3 points" responses.
I expect more than a 1-0 dire performance win at home against the likes of Charlton.
NA and Crosby looked angry at the performance, why shouldn't we be?

Williams was never gonna get through another 90 mins in less than a week and Sharp was never gonna do a full 90 with his first start of the season, but you crack on.

Lets face it, Adkins was always sh*t with his subs at Saints, so are we really surprised that he's the same with us?

By hook or by crook, we're crawling our way through it all though

Some idiot kid on BBCRB wanted Alf to start. Ahead of who, our best player at the moment or the man that scored?

Dellor has obviously been told off by the higher ups.
His enthusiasm at the result/performance is baffling.

Williams is great, just what we need in the middle of the park.

alol@the last half an hour. Only thing I can say is that at least the defence stood up to the examination pretty well with them not really having a chance.

Who cares, it's totally irrelevant the only stat that matters is goals scored v goals conceded.

I dont think that just because Charlton are 15 places below us it should be 3 pts guaranteed, this insane championship league has no yardstick of form to go by, Sheff Wed struggle, and only won twice this season, thrashing us and beating the leaders tonight. There aint no "gimmees" in this league
