I don't recall Cooper doing too much wrong this season. If one of those isn't fit give Rob Dickie a run out. He looks a bit like Pearce from a distance Then you see he can run (with some pace) and kick a ball (with some accuracy).

I like Dickie a lot, but I think he's a little way down the pecking order.

After Cooper, I would expect our picks to be Sweeney, Keown, Hyam, and then Dickie, unless we stuck Gunter at centre back (which might at least improve our chances at stopping crosses amirite? ). Dickie is probably the best bet in the long run (unless he gets usurped by one of the U16s, which I quietly think is possible) but I think Sweeney's relative experience will get him a spot on the bench in the short term.
