Surely we can manage to beat, or at least not lose against Leeds and Wigan at home.

A season of WLWLWL is 69 points - close to the POs

Based on the showing against Huddersfield I'm surprised were not in the bottom 3. Hard to believe there is that many teams worse than us, it was painful to watch. Blackpool must be unwatchable.

Thankfully it wont be the team that played on Tuesday that plays against Bradford but if we play like that they will smash us.

This -

I'd question if Millwall have 3 wins left in them this season to even get to our current total - if they lose at Rotherham on Sat they're done for.

Ah but Millwall lost again, so, er, no harm done.

Relegation a real possibility now

by paddy20 » 28 Feb 2015 17:49

Looking at the remaining fixtures we may be lucky to pick up around 8 pts. Millwall would only have to win half of their remaining games to overtake us. After Wednesday if we lose at Bolton we could be 4th from bottom. On average over the last 4 seasons you would need 46 points to survive.

Why does Micky Gooding not think we are in trouble? The distraction of the FA cup and our lack of goals may send us down.

Are we sleeping towards Div 1?

1 Do we need a new thread?
2 It's a remote possibility and hasn't been better than that.
3 This is the Millwall that have so far won 7 out of 34 games that only need to win 6 out of 12 right?

I reckon we will only pick up 8 pts for the rest of the season on our present form. That could mean relegation. If Millwall go on a bit of a run and win 50% of their last games they could catch us. We could be sleeping our way to relegation by letting the Cup distract us.

If any of the bottom three catch us it'll be Wigan. It's always bloody Wigan. And they've got better form than Millwall right now too.

You must add in to the equation our present form. If Millwall can turn it round we are in trouble as all the other teams around us are better than us. Add to that a demoralising defeat at Bradford could see us lose any shred of confidence. Just saying we should not be complacent!

IMO there is a real possibility, that this thread will be merged with the Relegation Watch thread.
