So how long, given they've had 2 months already since knowing what division we'd be in next season, does it take these people to green light a budget?

There has to be some responsibility held at this end of things as we can't delay decisions like this for days on end because people on the other side of the world have to have discussion about it all.

I think he was more likely getting confused with his Arsenal team's finishing position next season. I'd go for 4th personally

With Donaldson and a decent keeper plus the stated above I would push for conservative 10th, also I think Clarke is looking for 2 keepers not one would make 7 signings overall, I think we will spend 2.5 million in total and maybe be on about the same wage structure as we were to start with. Also we haven't sold anyone yet so may have to replace them aswell. That's before Chelsea loanees aswell. Could be a busy transfer window

Fits in with what I have heard. I was told a 4 year deal was important to the player as his missus is expecting. Also apparently Quinn was impressed that SC went over to Ireland to seal the deal. He is best mates with McShane so watch this space.

Good news, again. I like this signing and the signals it sends.

A good little player who's quite the little schema and good on the ball and, I think, can play out wide if needs be. I wonder if Clarke is looking to be able to play 4-3-3 as well as 4-4-2 with the way he seems to be shaping the squad.
