Sutekh It's our record solely. While you can convert their points total on the basis of 3 points for a win you can't convert the difference that playing for 3 points rather than 2 may have had on other team's approaches to their games against Northampton. So rearrange the phrase "trumpet and stick in that blow your"

Lincoln, m8 8)

If its any consolation, this elementary mistake wasn't the worst thing about your post

Can't see anything stopping Northampton now

Might need a new song about holding the Championship record?!

106, 106, we've lost the record, 106.

Northampton have 73 pts from 32 games.

Reading had 79 pts at the same stage.

Its entering genuine threat territory, but still a tough ask.

"Northampton's record-breaking run extended to 10 straight league wins following victory over York"

I wasn't sure if even as part of our 33 games undefeated we went on a ten games winning streak?! But just checked and we did!
Even so its fantastic form and with Hartlepool next its not likely to stop yet

Silver Fox Is it not?

heh, they drew so drop 2 points, means they can only drop 6 more points to reach 107, Burton can still match 106.

Starting to be discussed by Cobblers fans.

At what point did we start thinking about the record? I don't recall it being much of an issue until the final game?

A good night - Middlesbrough lose and can only get 103 - job done there
Northampton only draw - can still get 111 but now need to win 10 and draw 2 or win 11 of the last 12 - not impossible but getting less probable

Northampton need 31 points from their next 12 games to equal 106 points. From the last 12 games games they got 32 points.

Actually really hope they beat our record. Come on you cobblers!!!!!
