Did you not find the numerous innuendos about him banging Tim's wife just a bit sad and pathetic?

Ian Royal
strap Ah, the joys of supporting RFC!!!

AND another 4 yellow cards - so that's 19 in 6 games (2 for van den Red Card last time out).

Average over 3 a game - nice!

Not a big surprise really. Williams is as gobby as they come, Obita constantly gets himself in trouble and mouths off / pulls people down and VDB arrived with a reputation as being keen on collectable card games.

Yep, spot on. I think our record is 99 yellows in a season, but will check. Currently we are well on the way to beating that particular record!

Always nice to end any season with a new record!

Apologies, looks like it was 96 yellows in 2014/15.

Williams' booking was a complete joke. Booked for a handball even though he'd turned around and the ball was kicked against his arm. Doubtful it was even handball.

tidus_mi2 Also, thank fcuk I didn't go to this one.

You would have learnt a lot about some of the players tonight.

It was handball for sure, but a booking was harsh and undeserved.

Same ref as didn't send the player off at MK last season. Very lenient tonight on MK. Complete inconsistancy.

Ian Royal Harriott playing himself into the first team with two goals from open play?

Worrying thing is we sound like we're totally lacking in fitness (Rodgersesque focusing on skill to the vast detriment of fitness work?) and picking up loads of injuries. Rakels, Kelly, Cooper, Moore...

Rakels was an impact injury, Kelly was clattered by his own player and Moore has barely had a training session with us so I certainly wouldn't jump to any conclusions on our training methods just yet. Certainly if you read the reports coming out of the Holland pre-season trip then fitness was certainly very high on the agenda.

One thing the season so far (and last night in particular) has shown though is the issue with signing a lot of players who are out of contract/favour with their current clubs so they're nowhere near up to speed when they arrive.

I know Watson was suffering with cramp last night but I put that down more to him being a little inexperienced and throwing himself 100% into everything for about 75 minutes and paying the price,

Would be good if we can beat the all time FL record. Any idea what that is?

TBF, I think a lot of clubs will break their "records" this season with the directive to book players as soon as they open their mouths in an official's direction. Hopefully the message will sink in quickly with our players on that side of things.

Ref was just, well, weird. Seemed that he had had a tape of him blowing his whistle, playing in his back pocket, that would blow the whistle at totally random moments and he'd then invent a crime to fit the "decision".

Given that they're supposedly meant to be professional at tier 2 now, the standard has been pretty ****** awful so far this season.

Not sure how true it is but I've heard Ady had an extra marital and passed a little something on to the then Mrs Williams. Mrs Dellor should stay well clear :)

tidus_mi2 Not great for Cooper today, caused the goal and is a big part in the injury to Kelly.

I'm no fan of Cooper but to be fair the injury to Kelly was of his own making. Kelly was facing his own goal with no idea what was behind him, Cooper was attacking the ball from a position of strength (not that it always makes a difference to him). The player playing away from his own goal should be taking that one.

THat was two semi separate thoughts, apologies if it wasn't clear.

And we're picking up lots of injuries.

You don't think that the fact that the remaining fit players were covering for the injured ones may have made them more tired than they otherwise may have been ?

120 minutes
Hot weather
Early season
New players
Players joining having missed preseason
Injured players being carried
Opposition fired up and working hard

Not hard to see why one or two players might have been puffing a bit towards the end !

Other than that I'm not sure there is any evidence that general fitness levels are low. Of course there might have been something on the radio that people at the game missed.....

Unnecessarily bitchy.

Consistently poorer second half performances by all accounts. Regularly concede goals just either side of HT, tiredness can affect concentration.

Not saying it's the case, I'm posing a question given the comparative focuses on possession and skill Stam seems to be taking, which was similar to Rodgers when he stopped working on fitness much.

If you were at the game (and / or previous games) and don't think it's an issue, just explain so. No need to be a dick about it.

Blimey, someone is feeling touchy !

Frankly calling me a dick and a bitch when I have done exactly what you asked for (provided a list of why players may have looked a bit tired on Tuesday) is pathetic and I suggest you reconsider your response sir.

Conceding goals just after a 15 minute break is highly unlikely to be due to tiredness is it ? More a problem of getting refocused quickly enough.

Sometimes Ian you do invite people to think less of you than you deserve.
