Mannone is an absolutely atrocious goalkeeper, loads of howlers last season and the first game of the season, dominating the game 1-0, spirits are up and he hands them a free equalizer, useless prick. I can't remember seeing a keeper as poor as him since the days of Elm Park. We've got some really good players in this team which is encouraging, then we have some absolutely awful ones. There doesn't seem any middle ground.

He was rubbish when at Arsenal. Remember seeing him play at the Madejski when he was on loan (to Hull I think) and thought he looked a total shocker back then. Classic that he signed for Sunderland. Just shows how bad they were for so many years.

Doesn't really work like that. His howler gave them confidence and changed the course of the game. He doesn't make that error we don't go on to lose from there. He is completely at fault for this result IMO.
