Gunter played as a RWB for Wales, there were three center backs behind him liable for any mistakes. Ever since Giggs came in and switched to a back 4 he doesn't start. Would get found out instantly

It doesn't matter. We've discussed Gunter more than any other player in our history. Everyone has already picked a side. It's tribal. Nothing will change anyone's opinion. Let's ONLY talk about his performances for Reading from now on. Game to game. It's been done to death.

Just one thing on Gunter. Should not be committing a fowl throw at all, however, you see so many people do it but never get called on it. De Silva for BC did it about 4 times, quite blatantly, and never got called for it.

We do, which is why any sane person has come to the conclusion (based on game to game evidence) that he is in fact utterly abysmal.

Rhino very good, Loader doesn't look out of place at all, Yiadom VG.

CBs OK.

Was a dive but the style of Ilori's challenge was a bit silly. Jakk OK

Gunter made early errors but has settled

Bacuna doing well considering the Leeds quality.

Swift a bit mixed. Kelly, I barely noticed for 15 minutes, but decent by HT

Meite I can't remember much about the half

Let's be fair to the team AND THE MANAGER, that was a great performance
against a very decent top-six side at a tough stadium.

Even if we eventually ship a couple of goals tonight, we are going to be at least comfortably clear of the bottom six.

I will be deliriously happy with a 0-0

He did that in the playoffs didn't he? He has a history of it I'm sure.

Dammit. Now I'm talking about Chris oxf*rd Gunter again.

I see your Chris Gunter and raise you Shane Long. Seem to remember a decent amount of stat based chat (cough Snowy cough) every day regarding Long.

Maybe if the myopic Gunter haters (those experts who know better than the numerous managers Gunter has played for) could leave off for a while.

Do fear we may be in for a wba style rubbish second half though

Certainly don’t look rock solid at the back

They've been playing lots of long diagonals. Hopefully Clement realises and asks our full backs to keep it a bit wider than they have been.

Nearly a great start to the half. How many times do we switch off after 45.

Immediately they play a long diagonal and our LB, who shall remain nameless, was caught far to narrow.

Coming from the man who ranted about Madejski every week for years, this is ironic.

Played so well we've forced Bielsa into a double HT sub.

alfie9 Starting Gunter should be a sackable offense. Sick of it

How many Wales manager`s would have been sacked in those 92 games?

He doesn't have to defend for Wales, they play a back 3

One man’s back three is another man’s back five. Gunts is doing ok. Give the lad a break.

Needs to find an end product, but I'm loving what I've seen of him.

Swift on the other hand is pissing me off, he seems to think he doesn't have to shield the ball, can take forever to do anything and just being vaguely near someone is defending. I appreciate, I'm biased against him though... he just leaves me so cold.

Not your cup of tea and that's fine. I like him (obviously)

Rinomhota has been far, far too good so far. Getting pissed off that the commentators can't tell the difference between him and Yiadom though.
