No, it was the Wolves story. I can't remember the exact amount but the owner blocked it, it was pretty much done and dusted if I remember correctly.

It was a really poor deal.
Although the headline sum was huge it was all based on add ons. to get the millions he would have had to play lots of firstteam games, Wolves would have needed to be successful, he'd have needed to get England caps etc etc
I think the owners took the view that they were essentially giving Wolves a talented player but we were taking on all the risk that he might not develop. If he walks away this summer we get compensation and probably aren't that much out of pocket in real terms.
