John Madejski's Wallet
Old Man Andrews This second half display is up there with our best of the season. Really confident and assured, looked like a top 2 side.

 Behave

Brum were unbeaten in their last ten League games. This is a very good result. Bowen needs to work out how to set us up at home because away from home he has done very well.

It’s just such a shame the home form is so utterly wretched (NINE defeats), only Hull have lost more (ten) and they’ve played a game more at home. If just three of those nine defeats could have been wins Reading would currently be 6th.

Very true. If we'd held on just vs Hull for a 1-0 win we'd be 6 points off and I'd say we'd have a really decent chance based on our favourable run in with a 6 point gap. 8 points is probably too much with just 9 games left and with 6 sides above us.

If we finish top half then that's a decent season still. Something to build on for 2020/21.

Wow the amount of life sucked out of that commentator, no emotion on the "Gomes to wrap it up for Reading, he has, 3-1."

Great play by Puscas in the build up to the third. He's definitely coming good, even without getting on the scoresheet today.

Yeah I think thats fair. He is still singled out for criticism by our commentators but he has been much better as a sole striker in the last few weeks.

Weird game, Birmingham seemed in control until Miazga’s goal and then we dominated

Rafael 7

Yiadom 6
Miazga 8
Morrison 8 - both centre halves played well, taking away the poor back pass from Miazga
Richards 6

Swift 6
Rino 7

Meite 7
Ejaria 4 - unfortunately another really poor display
Olise 5 - struggled a bit today

Puscas 8 - his holdup play is vastly improved

Pele 8 - Played very well, even before his goal
McCleary 5 - was actually quite poor but got an assist
Moore 6 - helped solidify the defence

Thought the ref was a bit biased towards us and on any other day, they could have had a penalty

Another Whoscored oddity with Yiadom having the highest rating.

Credit to Miazga who played superbly after his blunder. Thought Swift and Ejaria were shite but Olise did well imo.

Thought Yiadom was poor in the first half, Bellingham had the better of him throughout but he came to grips in the second half

Thought Swift improved as the game went on and obviously got an assist for the Meite goal with a good freekick, otherwise he’d have probably been on a 5 too. Thought Olise looked OK at times, but didn’t really add much

Olise put in a real shift. Plenty of movement off the ball. Always looking to get involved. 5 is very harsh. Like Swift getting a 6. Never gave up, Never went missing. Despite the sloppy start.

WestYorksRoyal Great play by Puscas in the build up to the third. He's definitely coming good, even without getting on the scoresheet today.

What's really impressive is that, whilst people are rightly praising Pele's finish, he also made the original clearance out of our box before bombing 80yds downfield to be on the end of the move.

Pele is turning into a fantastic old school box-to-box midfielder
