I'm actually quite pleased with the no clean sheet. We've seen we can cope when we're pegged back.

Joao - 3(2) - 3 - unbelievable goal scoring record continues. 38 in 71 (16). Phenomenal.

I've never watched large amounts of PL football, but I remember Paul as a hardcase more than a frenetic speed machine.

Thought Joao played a lot better generally today as well, real handful. Like him as one of two up top

I think the game suited him well. He wasn't as isolated, there were often other players around supporting the press to make it worth him doing. He was able to isolate his marker more because of Long and Ince being a threat up there, so not so much of him vs 2 / 3 players constantly... balls to him were better and support more available.

Cracking penalty. Keeper went the right way but had no chance.

Think he was known as box to box before it had even been coined
Remember him as someone who just never gave up
And Thomas is the same

Yep handful was the word I’d use too. Really strong and very difficult for defenders to take it off him.

Rare trip to the madjeski for me today.

Played like the away team in the first half hour but really grew into the game.

Ince was immense, and impressed by Hutchingson and Fornah.

Ref seemed to have an under 0.5 on cards for Stoke, but was otherwise decent.

£10 on Joao + 2-1 made it even better

Yep ref was fine bar the yellow cards. Possible pen missed on yiadom but a tough one to call

Fornah was very good as well again. Really like the look of him
