windermereROYAL Just keep bringing in untried managers and hoping the next one will be better, baffling, just baffling.

This is the biggest reason why Reading are playing at the level they are - an unbelievable catalogue of appalling managerial appointments after Stam was finally given the push, It's like the club deliberately goes out of its way to find the most utterly ludicrous unknown or pointless has-been to complement the dreadful transfer policy and idiotic way the club is run.

"I think Reading want Bindon further up the pitch when they have the ball" says Gooding. Well he won't get further up the pitch because he's a centre half not a full back or a winger. Totally unfair from Selles to put him in that position.

Hold on, Bowen has input into the process. That’s his job.

Input yeah. He tried to Wilder.

Everyone was pretty adamant that Selles was Bowen's pick after it was suggested he was another crap decision from the owner.

Bowen described him as the "Real Deal".

Plan A - get an established experienced manager? Plan B - get the complete fcuking opposite.

Lots of talk of Jones, Wilder. Some mention of Wellens. Cowleys. Etc.

Then we get Selles.

How is that not a foul on Ballard? Also, when did Ballard come on?

We have novice players learning their trade, and a novice manager doing the same, with a squad that's weak and lacking in confidence, and possibly not highly motivated given the club's situation.

It doesn't scream 'success'.

I can't believe all of those rejected us.

Visible frustration from several different players as the ball was pinged about at the back there. Clearly players on different pages and frustration growing.

Nothing will change while we have Dai. The only way we've reached the nadir is if he's gone in a few weeks.

Replacing Selles would be rearranging the deck chairs.

Why would any manager with decent prospects have come to Reading?

When we actually get the ball down and pass it we get through them quite easily. Couple of decent chances there

I wouldn't call Holmes, McKintyre or Guinness Walker novices.....just that the manager froze out the experience and treats it like shit.

Last season, the squad wasn't really good enough, although it should have done better. This season the squad is full of talent.
