Hound Is Tony Warner still knocking about?

Harlee Dean may be helping out

Is he the goalkeeping coach? As far as I'm aware, he's still about.

Harlee Dean probably is helping out. I'm fairly certain he's helped before anyway (if I'm remembering previous reports well), but may have a bigger role now. Shame we don't have many more senior players to assist in this way.

Tony Warner is definitely still about.- 3 keepers and him every match warm up.

Mr Angry This is the latest from Hull Live:

"We just have to wait for the final details to be signed off, and then the announcement will follow in due course."

A glimmer of light - if everything turns on Dai signing off on anything, Rubén’s going nowhere!

Snowflake Royal Be oxf*rd funny if the takeover went through, we made some good loans in January and went up, passing Hull on the way.

After what he’s done for us I hope he does really well and keeps Hull up. I think that’s how best wishes actually work.

It’s a shame, but it was inevitable.

As affirmation:
Alongside Rubén, Toby Loveland and James Oliver-Pearce will also depart to join him.

I'm actually pretty pleased with that. Gives us some stability. No interim or end of the season uncertainty. Hopefully will settle the players a bit.

Wow, they didn't mess around there did they. Noel on a 3 yr contract as manager. On the bright side, he's very well respected around the club and a legend with the fans. He is highly regarded as a coach and i guess this is the next step for him. The players will love working with him and he knows everyone of them so honestly this is probably the best we could have hoped for and i for one really hope that he does well as manager.
Onwards and upwards Urrrzzzzzz.

Fair play to Hunt for negotiating it and good luck to him. But with a takeover in progess (allegedly) and his lack of record, its bonkers to hand him a contract there's a good chance we'll have to pay up at least 2 years of. Either through failure, or the preferences of a new owner.

To not even do an interim few games to show he can maintain performance and results, or even entertain the prospect of an external appointment is just, well, odd.

And if it indicates anything, it's that there isn't a takeover likely, as I'm sure prospective new owners part funding the club wouldn't be overwhelmed by this move.

To be honest - I think we're beyond the point of worrying about that sort of stuff, or even having a choice in it. The only concern is keeping the club alive day to day now. Hunt won't be going anywhere until we have a new owner - and having to pay Hunt a few quid would be a very small price to pay for that scenario.

Selles was committed to the club until he (and everyone else) realised that Dai's motivations are entirely unpredictable and potentially destructive. What is the point in trying to build anything if a big man-baby can turn up one day and just kick it all to the floor.

Gave him a chance. He was shit. As usual used little Reading FC to experiment and finally found form after not just initially being shit here but previous clubs too. Knew what he was coming into here when noone else would take him, yet decided to jump ship at first opportunity, for a nobody club in the same division.

Good riddance.

Time to get fully behind a true Readung legend now, come on Hunt!

Or it indicates there was a succession plan already in place because they knew that rat would jump ship at the first opportunity.

What about the club would suggest good planning.

Hopefully he starts with a huge win. Bit of a baptism of fire in away at top of the table local 'derby' Wycombe's biggest game of the season, though.

Sorry, probably should've added a wink.

Means nothing. Other than a bonus if the club gets taken over. Good academy staff are in high demand across the leagues.
