So, SC has said we must expect changes. Anyone know how serious Murty's knock was last night? I like Rosenior, he has huge potential, but he does seem to have frozen a bit the last two matches. What odds SC falling back on Murts's experience? That's one change. Another might be Hunt, who is clearly suffering from a dodgy hamstring. My worry is that he'll play on through it, getting progressively less effective whilst simultaneously making the injury worse, much as Bryn seemed to do earlier in the season. If not, maybe SC will risk throwing Convey back in. I can also see the temptation for starting with Blakey, and withholding Oster for 'impact'. I hope not, The Arse are very quick all over the pitch so Little will be off the pace (as would Murts, I guess). That leaves the forwards, where he has virtually no option but to try Long-Kitson (again? I'm losing track of who's played alongside who) and give Doyler a much needed (and earnt, in my opinion) break.

So:-

USA
Rosenior or Murty
Shorey
Ingi
Bikey
Oster
Marek
Harper
Convey
Long
Kitson

Fed, Cisse, Hunt, Little, Doyle

And you think Oster is on the pace?

I think we will go with Murts at RB and LR at RM

winchester_royal And you think Oster is on the pace?

Not really, but possibly a bit more so than Glen, but admittedly my feeling might be born more out of fear than anything else after seeing how slow Blakey looked in the Ressies match the other week. I'd rather he not be embarassed so soon after coming back from injury!

Hahnemann

Rosenior Bikey Duberry De La Cruz

Little Gunnarsson Matejovsky Convey

Oster

Kitson

I fully expect to get slated for this but think Oster in the middle, slightly ahead of Gunnarsson and Matejovsky in a free role could work well. Last season Oster put in some decent displays playing in this role in the cups, and also a couple of league games near the end of last season (Newcastle was one I think). Also allows Kitson to get right upfield and not have to drop deep.

Obviosuly won't happen though, can see him bringing Murty for Rosenior and Kitson for Long. Hunt will have to get the plague to get dropped.

1 x goalkeeper, and 10 outfield players (+ 5 subs ) as selected by Mr Coppell (+ no 13),

I win.

Hahnemann

Rosenior Cissie Bikey Shorey

Little Matejovsky Hunt Convey

Doyle Kitson

Federici
Ingimarsson
Harper
Gunnarsson (is he back?) if not Fae or Oster
Long

Reason for Hunt in place of Harper, although Hunt has gone a bit off the boil, Harps isn't winning the balls, and Marek isnt a battling midfielder, we need someone in the centre of the park to win balls - Hunt did well at this against ManUre so put him back in there, we are loosing games in the centre of the park and that IMO is the most important position on the pitch.

Seem to remember a similar team taking a point at OT... In a game we don't expect much from, why not give Kebe a chance to make a difference? He scored twice for the reserves the other night...
