Henry done more in 45 minutes than Kebe has in all his appearances for Reading. (all 1 + minutes)

I don’t understand how people can right off Kebe. He has started 2 league games in England one of which against arguably the best passing team in the country.

In pre season Kebe was one of our better performers. We all know he’s got natural place – I don’t think that’s everything but it’s a good attribute to have.

I think some people need to manage their expectations. Personally I was a lot more disappointed with Liam R on Sun. IMO our right side was poor on Sun but considering Kebe was only starting his 2nd league game in England he should be cut a little but more slack. Liam R is an experienced Prem player and he always seems to be distinctly average.

Coppell has a choice to make now - what message does he want to send Henry? Will it be 'if you come in to the team and play well you will keep your place?' I hope so, but I doubt it.

By the sounds of it he did well tonight. Place on the bench imo with Convey dropped from the squad. Hunt left mid, Julian kelly filling in left back.

more likely kelly right back and rosenior left imo as he has played there before...

but i agree with your priniciple, hunt looks a lot more likely than convey to create

Sadly i think you may be right.

I just don't quite understand the logic really that suggests a raw 24 year old from France is somehow less of a gamble than our home grown England under 19 internbational who has actually played far more games in English football anyway.

Coppell must see something in Kebe that I've yet to see thats for sure.

Interesting that the earlier comments re Henry's performance are now being over-taken with more negative reviews. Was he actually shite?

Agree though Vision, I don't see how Kebe is a better pick. Has Kebe had a good game for us yet?

Kebe actually played the majority of his games on the left too. :|

Henry must be tearing his hair out

as much as any of you hate him, hes only just been bought so the only question for the next season or so i whether he is going to be 1st choice or back up.

Or is it possible that our management will swallow their pride, realise their mistake and find some other mug of a club to take him off our hands.

its not hard in the current climate admittedly

Played better today which was encouraging. But Plymouth were a very poor side who will struggle this season so dont gauge it yet. Lets see what happens over due course. Hopefully he will gain some confidence from today to take into the next game.
