Tells you all you need to know if the ghost writer couldn't be bothered to read it for a few weeks. Maybe it was ghost ghost written.

You're not reading that post properly. The article wasn't written by Holt.

Why don't we ask Strech himself what he thought of the tackle? Then we can show Warnock Riggot, Upson, and Denilson's tackles on Kitson and ask him if it's still the worst tackle of the season.

Warnock's hatred of Reading is born entirely of being beaten by them again and again and again.

Just a sad and pretty pathetic case of sour grapes. He's in a minority of little more than one in thinking Reading FC are bad role models for the game.

remember in after our first season in the prem, finishing 8th, they went down, after beating them every time wed seen them for a couple of years, league and cup
finishing twelve points ahead in the championship and apparently-sheffield were still the better club!

LOL

Reading the extract, it's all about Wally Downes, and that spat goes back well beyond Wally's time at Reading. Although it's clear that getting beaten by us again and again annoys him too.

Don't Colin and Wally go back a bit further than Reading, though?

But don't Warnock's problems with Reading pre date Wally?

They may well do - but you said "entirely".

My problems with both of you don't pre-date Reading or Wally, or Warnock.

Far Canal Holt keeps on trying......

Now managing Crystal Palace, the controversial Yorkshireman goes on to discuss his flare up with Downes which led to the Royals coach being charged with improper conduct.

Hmm, wonder what that means exactly - discusses the incident? Does he say that Wally was outraged when he heard what he thought was an instruction from the sidelines from Warnock to his players to break one of our players (Sidwell) legs?

Somehow I doubt it.

Colin W@anker. Says it all.

he hates everything about us as a club, our stadium, our fans, our geographical location, every player

which makes it all the more satisfying when we ram it down his throat everytime he visits

Riding on the coat tails of RFC success. Warnock in a pants down socks up situation.

If the alleged incident in the car park took place why wait till now to mention it and not at the time? Why wasn't he on the coach with his players? As much as we hate Warnock I find it hard to believe that a hundred Reading fans would chase him back to his car jump all over it? Unless someone else knows any different?

I was wondering why he wasn't on the team coach. Didn't make sense at all. Maybe the Sheffield Utd players hated him as much as we do.

Also if he really didn't get the team bus, at what point did he realise he didnt have the two stewards he'd been promised?

i assumed a manager would get the coach back after a game with all of his players
serves him right

Im sure the club would have video evidence of brave Warnock defending himself against those Reading rotters.

IIRC Warnock had either been in London the day before and travelled direct to the game, or was going on somewhere afterwards hence had travelled on his own.

The story sounds highly embellished, unless Warnock left the ground within 20 minutes of kick off there would not have been hundreds of people milling around and I doubt anyone would have waited specifically for him. There are always tangos by the away team coach so he would have had to walk past them to go the short distance to his car (assuming it was in the player's car park). There is CCTV covering that whole area and the control room would have seen any problems.

It's in his interests to hype the whole thing up and seems fairly typical of the guy, he has no middle ground - it's one extreme or the other with him.

I doubt most of the football world would side with him.
