Anyone noticed that Doncaster have only scored 13 goals at home this season?

The whole world knows to stop Doncaster you have to flood the midfield as they play 5 in midfield, if we go 442 we have less chance of getting a result given our current form.

I want the team to be..

Federici
Rosenior Bikey Pearce Armstrong
tabb Cisse Matejovsky S.Hunt
kebe
Doyle

Subs

Hahnemann
Gunnarsson
Little
Doyle/Kitson
N.Hunt

Kebe to have a bit more of a free role in the middle like to see him cause some damage there, maybe put Gunnarsson on for Cisse/Matejovsky.

RobRoyal
Woodcote Royal No, the game has just moved on in the last 3 years........in case you hadn't noticed.

Which system are the current top 2 using then? 4-4-2 isn't it?

Have you noticed the recent form of the top 3?

When we were playing Forster as a lone striker few other teams were playing that formation now it's fast becoming the norm.

Fair point about 3-5-2 and I, too would prefer a 4-5-1 that can be switched to a 4-3-3 when required.......................but I'd settle for anything that reduces the predictibility that has seen us lose 3 home games and failing to beat bottom of the table.

Season over I couldn't care less, whatever team Coppell puts out will be cluesless and leaderless.

I cannot believe how far backward he's taken this team in 2 seasons.

I hate 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 personally, for me most teams (except barca) who play this play 4-5-1 and its boring and hard to win. I prefer a 4-4-2, with wingers and 2 upfront.

not saying im right just my preference, and with 4-4-2 you can do alot instead of play it rigid. switch the wingers about etc etc.....dont like 4-5-1 yuk

the formation should change game by game to incorporate tactics of other teams

brum are a good example of executing this as shown against donny where they packed the midfield to combat the 5 don played. Think we would need to do the same although i somehow doubt it happening
