Humanistic The interesting bit for me will be to see how he plays when he gets his move to the Premier League. I, like most Reading fans it seems, can't believe he'll be much good, but perhaps we're all missing something? Know a Swansea fan who raved about Hunt when we beat them 4-0 at our place, but I can't even remember his performance that day. His good games seem to be forgettable but his bad ones really stand out.

Looks like SHunt is very popular already with the toffees.

Schards#21960 As with Coppell losing it towards the end, but to whom we owe a huge debt, Shunt also gaves us a couple of good years. Can nobody remember when he was providing shedloads of assists for Doyle and, later, his brother to lap up? OK, maybe it's time for him to go, but I don't see any reason to be as abusive as most people on this thread.
I'm happy that at all times Coppell was giving it 100%.
I don't feel the same can be said of Hunt, hence the greater criticism.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe I just hope Hammond manages to keep a straight the face like he did when flogging Kitson and Sonko.
If we get £3m it will to robbery.
Cambell - Ryce to replace him please.

gazzer, loyal royal When Hunt was on form, he was head and shoulders above other wingers in this division. However, he didn't perform when it really mattered, and will be remembered for that. He's been trying to orchestrate a move away from the club for a while now.
Remember after the Watford game live on sky he said that the club had lied to him about interest in him etc. He said two massive deals at the club and then failed to produce anything after that. It said a lot about his recent lack of form that Coppell started Church instead of Hunt for the 2nd leg of the playoffs. Hunt had lost his rapport with the fans, and therefore had lost all confidence in his own ability and ulimately led to Kitson's comment in the dressing room before the game with Burnley.
Hunt has been a fantastic servant for the club, but I don't quite think he realises what the club has done for him. In stark contrast to Doyle, who in public, notices that the Reading have given him the opportunity to earn nie on 30k a week and made him an international player. Hunt has forgotten all this. He was on the verge of signing for Bradford when Coppell signed him. He may have made it, you never know, but there is no way he would have made it this quickly if it wasn't for Reading FC. I don't care what players say in private to the manager, but I doubt Hunty has even had the chance to talk to Brendan Rodgers as he would have been away on international duty.
Unfortunately what Hunty achieved at the club will be tarnished by his selfish publicity about always trying to get a move and has been caught up in his own self agrandisement.

Something along the lines of "you're so shit Church is picked ahead of you" Not sure I believe it. Although it's pretty Kitsonesque. Given Kits didn't really like footballers at the best of times I imagine he dispised Hunt.Raxgazzer, loyal royal and ulimately led to Kitson's comment in the dressing room before the game with Burnley.
Sorry, not heard this one - anyone care to enlighten me?

Don't agree that on form he was head and shoulders above any other winger in this division.
What about:-
Kightly
Elliott
Ledley
Surman
Campbell-Ryce
to name but a few.

Southbank Old Boy Only because of he hogged our corners and free kicks
His delivery was very at that point though, but those stats dont mean he was playing better than the others
