I've submitted 4 questions, which I've been assured by my STAR contact that he will try hard to ask.

These are my questions:

1. When you were negotiating coming to join Reading, were you made aware of approximately what size your transfer budget would be, at that time. Or was this discussed after you joined us?
2. What is the situation with Matejovsky and Harper – are you intending to make them part of the team when they are both back to match fitness?
3. Re the Tommy Smith debacle – what lessons, if any, have you learned from this, and if we have not signed him, has it allowed you to go for one or two more expensive players now that, otherwise, you would not have been able to show an interest in?
4. Where do you see yourself and RFC at the end of May 2012? (i.e. in 3 seasons’ time)

Thanks for the insight into your questions - I'm sure that diplomatically respond and has already been given his scripted answers to use by Mr Mad.

Do we know who elese will be attending - any players due to turn up (if there are any actually left that is)?

Terminal Boardom
Wycombe Royal
Royal Lady How is backwards and sideways passing "an improvement"?

It's about getting comfortable with the system. Watford were like this when he first took over there....

I would go with that. We stuffed Watford last season but for much of the game they knocked the ball around nicely but with no cutting edge. 4-0 wasn't it? How long had he been in post???

TSTRS, my beef is with the club and the board. Not with BR or the players.

Again, talk of "the Board."

Anyone who knew the slightest about the way RFC operates would know that there is no "board" - except in the strictest legal sense. There is one man who owns over 99% of the share equity and makes 99% of the financial decisions. The board meets once a year and has one other named member on it because those are the minimum legal requirments for a company's Board of Directors.

But over the past few years on HNA I've learnt that as soon as someone talks about "the board" they have such little insight of RFC that it's not worth reading the rest of their post.

Pat Butchers Ring Back on topic I want to know how STAR are representing the majority of fans views and demading answers from the club about the lack of investment in the team?

My view is that they are so far in the pockets of the chairman and the club that dont dare ask the questions that matter. The club see them as toothless as our first team and the only thing they seem to 'protest' about is the price of a programme and a beer. A REAL supporters club would have hammonds balls on a block by now and have a statement out to all members about whats going on.

Dont worry STAR you all pat yourselves on the back at your AGM and remind yourself what a great job you are all doing. After all the price of a programme is still under a fiver.

It is great that you know what the majority of fans are asking - but unfortunatlely we are not mind readers like you. We have not had a single member (or non-member) contact us asking us to raise this question. As for any patting oursleves on the back it is open to any member to seek election (and actually do something rather than sniping from the sidelines) as we are a supporters trust and not a supporters club with an annual election process as a democratic organisation.

Yet you still had to pass comment. I am looking forward to how you deal with the East Stand when they start shouting "Sack the board!"

Ok. Pedant mode off. Replace "Board" with "Chairman and his toadying arsewipes". Pedant mode on.

Discussions on signing Rasiak and McAnuff were ongoing before the Smith deal was gazumped.

Hopefully two to three more signings before the transfer window closes, subject to agreements with the selling clubs and players. No indication as to who the targets are.

Harper may be sold. He, Doyle and Shunt were all asked at the beginning of last season to give us one more season in the hope that we would get promoted, on the understanding that RFC would not stand in the way of a transfer to a Premier club this summer.

No bids have been received for Rosenior.

Easy to see why BR was appointed.

He's very sure of himself and comes over as passionate about the club.

Pleased with what I heard from him and Nicky.

I hope that amongst all the rhetoric that there is substance. I suppose that time will be the best judge.

I would love to see this song put to a highlight reel of our young players scoring come year end as we see RFC re-built.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E957FIsnAcM

When somethings broke, I wanna put a bit of fixin on it
When somethings bored, I wanna put a little exciting on it
If somethings low, I wanna put a little high on it
When somethings lost, I wanna fight to get it back again

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, fight to get it back again
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
