Snowflake Royal It's pretty incredible that YR is managing to bang on to this extent that 'It's all fine guv' based purely off of the suggestion that getting games abandoned, and the natural consequences of that, at this stage would be counter productive and drive away parties interested in buying us.

Something which hardly can be seen as a controversial viewpoint.

As opposed to suggesting that, if we drove away current interested parties, that's it, lights out for the club?

Snowflake Royal You say sustainably, but at L2, that's not possible with our infrastructure.

How many clubs our size or bigger have struggled to get back to the Champ just from L1, loads take 5/6 years just from there.

Hell of a long time to risk waiting seein any possibility of a returnon investment.

Fo down and the chance of bouncing back quickly to the Champ is well and truly gone.

It depends on the scenario and the club. It will likely take a few seasons to do if it was to happen where we dropped to L2 and had to really cost cut our assets like the academy, but clubs can eventually work their way back if they are run correctly.

Peterborough's owner once said on TalkSport that Mike Ashley could have us back in the PL within 6 years (I think?), even if he took us over in L2. Not to say he's mystic meg or anything, but it shows the perception people have about us, with stable ownership.

I like their owner, he should sell Posh and buy us

I know in the end it all comes down to Dai, but would it be worth considering writing to rumoured interested parties (e.g. Mike Ashley) and try to encourage them to make a bid or at least show they'd have some support amongst fans behind them if they did bid.

Individually, no.

Organisations, maybe. But you'd be setting yourself up for recriminations if they turnout to be bad, and ultimately, you can't have any effect, because the key is whether they can agree a deal with Dai or not.

STAR or SBWD being nice and encouraging to Ashley or Genevra or whoever isn't going to change the price or have any significant effect on what they're willing to pay.

Anything could be worth a try.

I see that SBWD are planning to host something on Twitter next Tuesday. It’s for fans to help them come up with further ideas. Tbf, they have come up with some good ideas but they all seem so futile in terms of forcing Dai to sell.

For me, game abandonment makes a real statement, but I appreciate plenty of fans will disagree. Honestly, other than Dai dying I can’t see this ending well.

I've often wondered what happens if Dai dies. Surely would make our predicament even worse as they work out who inherits what in his estate and not even a penny is provided to us? Don't think it's the solution we're looking for.

It wouldn't be resolved quickly. That's for sure.

RIP Dai. Wish I could say that for real. He's not dead yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

The statement SBWD & STAR put out with the meeting minutes pretty much contradicts everything Pang is quoted to have said in the meeting....odd.

Not at all odd if he's the devious lying bastard that some of us always expected him to be.

Pang’s statement is just full of lies. I honestly think it’s time to get every home game abandoned. The sooner we can rebuild a phoenix club the better. The alternative is months possibly years of this never ending shit show.

So who do we believe after these latest round of statements: Pang who is clearly Dai's puppet and is never going to tell us the truth and has clearly drafted this statement as they knew SBWD/STAR were releasing a statement of their own after the meeting last week.

Or SBWD/STAR/Whistle Blower's How much can you read into information from these so called whistle blower's?

I'm going with somewhere in the middle and we aren't going to be far off!! However, for the first time since all this shit materialized i really am starting to fear for the safety of the clubs existence. Worrying times indeed.

I suspect the Truth is somewhere in the middle ground, as usual.

The whistleblowers really can't attest to Dai's intentions. Realistically how is almost anyone who might be a whistleblower going to be in a position to know that Dai doesn't want to sell and instead wants to asset strip?

Bowen and Selles can barely get hold of him.

Not to mention some of them are contradictory to a degree.

Never return to Cat1 status is a nonsense. All it takes is the will to do it and the money to fund it.

That's not to say that they aren't informative of the lack of confidence at the club in Dai, his bad running of the club and damage he can and probably will still do.

As for Pang's statement, it does indeed show we've gone backwards from Bowen's update in late Oct / early November where we were a couple of weeks from.signing exclusivity and might have completed the sale in January.

Now we're back to inviting new interested parties to get in touch.

I'm not suggesting Pang ins't being economical with the truth but we're 2 weeks in nearly and no one has gone with only Savage on the rumour mill (aside from a load of nonsense on twitter in the last half hour)

And how can any "whistleblower" know what Dai is really thinking?

And the cat 1 comment is just ludicrous
